I'm feeling the pull of Demon's Souls everyday I wait for Uncharted 2 to come out (although if I did buy it I wouldn't really have time to play it until Sunday at the earliest which is basically when UC2 comes out)!

If you do decide to order Demon's Souls, pick up the Collector's Edition as I hear the strategy guide is extremely useful. Plus, its only an extra $10 for that extremely helpful tidbit as I hear you need all the help you can get with this game.

will do. I usually don't touch strategy guides because even looking at future venues (and not reading the text) is a spoiler for me in RPGs. But, it seems like less of Demon's Souls hinges on the narrative so I think I'll be fine doing it this time.

I chose Uncharted 2 for these very reasons. Regardless, I'll be getting Demon's Souls eventually.

I preferred PS1 over Saturn but when you eventually pick one up, you have to check out the games below. They can stand toe to toe with the best.

1. Guardian Heroes - one of Treasure's finest and that says a lot because I don't think Treasure ever made a bad game
2. Dragon Force - outside of Final Fantasy Tactics, the best strategy RPG of its time
3. Saturn Bomberman - no other Bomberman besides Super Bomberman 2 for SNES comes close
4. Panzer Dragoon Zwei - probably the Saturn's most iconic game outside of Nights
5. Nights - ...speaking of which
6. Shining the Holy Ark - a more traditional classic RPG that stood out even amongst the best the PS1 had to offer. Solid difficulty too.

Plus, pretty much every 2D fighter was better on Saturn with the 4MB RAM cart. Can anyone else think of some big ones I'm missing out on? I guess I'm obligated to say Panzer Dragoon Saga, but I could never really get into that game for some reason.

Thanks for the suggestions and I will look into that...

Uncharted 2, str8 up. I git Demons Souls the other day and honestly, I hate it. My son took it over for me and he's enjoying it....I guess to each his own. I guess I'll have to wait for Dragon Age for my turn for medieval enjoyment.
