No one here mentioned the Batman anthology ... I just watched Batman returns, and it looks amazing ... and I found it for only 49,99$ at my HMV store in Canada ... should get the Matrix collection for the same price

Ones I have,

Ultimate Matrix
Pirates of the Caribbean
Planet Earth

Ones I would love to get,

Lord of the Rings EEs
Star Wars (all six movies)
Jurassic Park (all three movies)

If Seinfeld ever comes out on blu-ray I would totally double dip to upgrade my DVDs.

I would say that Bourne and Pirates are the two best because the films are the most consistent. For example only the first Matrix movie is really all that great whereas all three Bourne movies in the box are awesome.

Have:

Rambo Trilogy
Ocean's Trilogy
Star Trek TNG Collection
Ultimate Matrix Collection
Die Hard Collection
James Bond Vols. 1-3

Want:

The Godfather Collection
Spider-Man Trilogy
Bourne Trilogy
Star Wars (6)
The Lord of the Rings (EE)
Pirates of the Caribbean
Terminator Set (all 4)
Rocky Collection
X-Men Trilogy
Jurassic Park Trilogy
Star Trek Original Collection
Batman Anthology
Indiana Jones (all 4)

Of course, the wish list is longer that the own list. Sets are a bigger chunk of money to cough up all at once, and I usually will not not pay more than $10-$12 per title. Patience... patience...

The best Boxsets in order IMO are:

1. The Godfather Trilogy
2. Star Trek The Original Motion Picture Collection (by strength AQ and of set as a whole, PQ is sorta par)
3. Star Trek The Orignial Series 1-3 (even though 3 isn't out yet)
4. Band of Brothers
5. The Bourne Trilogy
6. Star Trek The Next Generation Motion Picture Collection
7. X-Men Trilogy
8. Planet of the Apes 40 year Evolution
9. Dirty Harry Collection
10. Matrix Utlimate Collection

The only boxset I have for Blu Ray is Planet of the Apes: 40-Year Evolution box set.

It's a must have for any Ape fan and the coffee table book is a great addition, not to mention the great price you can find it at now and the A/V quality of the discs are excellent.

Friends the complete series because it's my favorite show of all time. I can watch any episode anytime. I also want the Indiana Jones collection, lord of the rings extended trilogy, Rocky collection and Jurassic park trilogy

I'll be picking up Friends the complete series next week

During my DVD days, I was never a box set kind of person. Ever since I made the switch, I find myself buying box sets I wouldn't normally watch. For instance, I have never been a fan of Star Wars but I bought the box set because it looked nice and so far have enjoyed the films.

One of the best, must have box sets in my opinion is the Planet of the Apes big book set (although I highly recommend putting the disks in individual cases)

Also a big fan of the Indiana Jones Collection from the UK and the Universal Monsters collection in the coffin...

I have others:
Nightmare on Elm Street Collection
Back II The Future Collection
The Goonies Collector Set
A Christmas Story Collector Set
The Omen Set

But I wouldn't consider any of these MUST HAVES, unless you're a fan, in which case it's a no-brainer.

Mine so far has been the Universal Monster Coffin set, the Bond 50 set, and the soon to be in my possession Limited Edition Alfred Hitchcock set from the UK.
