then 16 years later Lucas was bored and tried again......but do not watch them in order starting with the new ones as they really ruin the Originals. I would also suggest getting copies that are not mutilated but see them in their original form.

Oh wow. So he must've planned to do it like that from the jump if he started at number IV right? What other reason would he start at number IV? Anyway I never knew that and if I do consider those I will do it in the order that they came out just as u suggested. U think these will ever come to blu? Got Em!!

It was the decade to me but atleast u gave reason for listing all kind of outlandish films not from 1980! Haha

10 CADDYSHACK

Lots of great titles already named, I'll add "Inside Moves". Wasn't big at the box office but its a really good film that just recently made it to DVD. With John Savage and David Morse and directed by Richard Donner

Oh, I'm sorry, I misread your thread. I thought it was "best 10 from the 80's," not 1980! I guess I've got to redo my list. So without further ado:

Actually Superman II was released in 1980.

"Raiders of the Lost Ark" was released in 1981, and not 1980.

NOOOOOOOOO!! I have both movies on my redo list! Can't we make some exceptions? There aren't enough good films from 1980 as it is! (The Long Good Friday was made in 1979, but I read it was delayed release until 1980. I don't know if it's true, but I'm keeping it on my list!)

Im not sure about Raiders of the Lost Ark, but u are correct on The Long Good Friday as it was released domestically in 1980! That guy is not sure of what he is talkin about! Edit: Raiders of the Lost Ark was 1981 so he was right on that one! Remove it now! Hahaha!! Got Em!!

I looked up Raiders, and it is from 1981.
