Just got done with the first 5 episodes of season 1 on blu-ray. GREAT SHOW!!!! The attention to detail is remarkable. Is season 2 and 3 as good as season 1?

I got disc one from Netflix, and have to wait until next week for disc 2. I might buy season 2 and 3 so I don't have to wait. I was hooked from episode 1. The picture quality is the best I have seen on any blu-ray. I feel like I am in the advertising offices with the guys having a bourbon and branch. The background stories are fascinating as well. This is great because it is so layered with stories, and the attention to detail is remarkable.

Is there suppose to be an Episode Guide on Season 3? It's the only one from my set that doesn't have the Episode pamphlet.

Yes. I had the same issue. Had to search around for it. Checked multiple couples from Amazon and Best buy and none had it. Finally got it in one copy at Target.

Thanks for your reply. So how many copies did you end up opening just to find the Episode Guide?

i just blind bought season 1 and 2, havent seen it but heard great things, plus i got both seasons for $13.49 so i couldnt pass this up
now im just waiting to get a good deal on season 3 and 4

bummer you missed the BF sale. Amazon had the entire series for $35.96. and with AMZ prime....no tax, no shipping.

2010 BF - each season 9.99
2011 BF - each season 8.99

so maybe next year they will be 7.99

What makes Mad Men very unique is that the show develops very nicely and each season, it only gets better. A lot of shows are very unsteady, meaning that one season is good, the next is lousy, and the next season is better, etc... Mad Men just builds up each season and keeps getting better.

Mine came with one! I bought it from amazon November 25th, 2010.
