Let's hope they don't screw this up like they did with the Police Story films.

Now we need:

Bullet in the Head
A Better Tomorrow I, II
Hard Boiled
My thought exactly

It's a bit more serious than his other action movies. I like The Killer, Hard Boiled and even Better Tomorrow more, but Bullet In The Head is a must have as well.

Hopefully they don't muck up the transfer and hopefully they'll include the original language track in lossless. Doubtful, but one can hope. It's a great film.

I have this version of the film:

http://cgi.ebay.com/John-Woo-Bullet-...ht_1219wt_1166

It has the original Cantonese audio as well as a very good remastered 5.1 DTS Cantonese track, anamorphic 1.85:1 video and the alternate "boardroom" ending as well as the "piss drinking" scene that was cut. It's a pretty good DVD compared to the earlier versions of this movie, especially the non-anamorphic ones I've seen.

You've actually got that reversed. NBC Universal is a subsidiary of Vivendi.

Edit - I am wondering if that is a sarcastic question to the Subtitles being screwed up

For Inglourious Basterds, they sold the home video rights to Universal in exchange for a cash infusion to help market the film during its theatrical run - the marketing cash was what the Weinsteins needed, and the lucrative home video rights were what they gave in exchange for it. It's not like they gave home video rights to Universal simply because they couldn't afford the actual distribution.

For The Killer, there is no marketing. And this not being a new theatrical release, the home video rights are probably not worth much to a big studio. So the reasons for a similar deal don't really exist here.

Sorry. Really. Didnt mean to offend. I was not trying to make a joke. Its just that I was really upset with the movie Hero. The saying "All Under Heaven" was changed and ruined (in my opinion) forever.
..... ...... .... .... Its been emotional.

This is Chow's best movie of all the time.
I watched it over and over everytime it was playing on TV. Unfortunately, I am used to it with French language. I hope I will enjoy the Chinese or English track if there is one.

This is one of my most coveted titles. That being said, I'm holding off my excitement until I see reviews, specifically for the subtitles and the A/V presentation. If they're dubtitles or the original soundtrack is not included, I'll probably just stick with my HKL DVD of the Killer.
