Default Release all three separately!

Thought I'd chime in here...

I am a hard core Matrix fan. I absolutely love all three movies and what they're about...blah blah blah.

I can profess my love for the trilogy 'till I'm blue in the face, but the fact is, the box set is not for everyone! Personally, I love the box set!

But, what about those who loved part one, and just thought the rest were ok, or even hated them? Are they wrong? NO! To each their own.

Just because I loved all three doesn't mean everyone did. These movies SHOULD BE RELEASED INDIVIDUALLY AND NOT AS THE OVER-PRICED BOX SET.

Again, I loved all three, but $100 from Best Buy for the box and even $50 from Amazon? Two are are almost seven years old and the first is over 10 years old!

I LOVE THE FLICKS, BUT LOWER THE PRICE AND RELEASE THEM AS INDIVIDUAL MOVIES!

Looks like we digibook lovers will now have to wave goodbye to the eventual release of Reloaded & Revolutions on DB.
That seriously sucks.

What difference would it make? Not like it didn't already have lossless audio...

I loved the digibook release. I hope the other 2 come out as digibooks.

Lossless is lossless. I'd rather have it without dialnorm. DTS-HD MA would be no different than the current TrueHD unless they remix the track. And I think what others are saying is that it's unlikely they'll remix the track for this release.

So what about all the cool stuff from the booklet...the regular release will not have the pics and notes and info at all?

In that case, give me the book version. Who cares what it looks like.

The other movies in the trilogy are available separately in the UK as region-free discs that are identical to the U.S. copies.

Ordering from Amazon UK is a piece of cake for Americans with their regular Amazon log-in account.

Because its a book instead of a case and looks out of place?

honestly i don't mind them but if they have it in both ill pick up the actual case, not a HUGE fan of the matrix but i went ahead and bought the complete collection weeks back for 50

If that is the case why not just do a proof of purchase insert? If the same info was printed on the back of the book so removing the backing didn't matter that would be fine but with out it you have none of the movie format information.

I do like the digibooks other than that portion of them.

Personally, love, love, love the Digibook format; dont get the hate. Reasons are weak from, 'it wont close right' to 'I fear change'

Didn't like the digibook, well, I don't like digibooks at all. I sold my copy to my brother and ordered the box set from amazon UK a couple of months ago.

Digibook or not, I couldn't care less. I want a high bit rate encode and if this is the same < 18 Mbit/s HD-DVD version I'm not interested.

I too wish all Blu-rays came in Digibooks (as long as the cost is the same). They are really of high quality, and they can't crack or break (like Blu-ray or HD-DVD cases). The prints are usually of high quality as well, it's like a real hard-bound picture book.

So what if they stick up another 1/4" on your movie shelf...that's a pathetic reason to hate them. For me, it's high quality photographs that make them really cool. They also feel and look pretty cool. I have 3 Digibooks (Batman, Easy Rider, and The Matrix). They are all awesome, and are a treat to sit back with a glass of wine and read.

I have three as well. (Matrix, 300 and North by Northwest)

I really like the digibooks and have a seperate shelf that is slightly taller than the others that fits them and other non-standard cases (Band of Brothers) perfectly.
