You're welcome--We're only too HAPPY to intervention, and say that if you genuinely need the help of strangers to decide what to spend $34.99 on without ever having heard of in your life, it might be time to spend it more wisely on a Netflix rental membership...
...Remember, it's those twelve valuable steps, and they start with self-realization of a problem. ![]() |

I liked Hurt Locker, but not enough to buy it. (And good as it is, it's nowhere near "flawless".) I've heard mixed reviews of Moon, so I will probably rent it. Then I will be armed with the knowledge of whether or not I like it enough to justify the purchase price. Last edited by repete66211; 01-12-2010 at 03:00 PM. |

I will probably blind buy both.. I understand why people say you should rent first, but really how much do you lose if you buy a movie at $20 and then sell it on at say $14 if you don't like it?? About the price of a rental no?
Besides - if you really like after renting it, it's more expensive when you have to pay for rental on top |

The Hurt Locker all the way. It's a flawless film. It's brilliantly paced, shot, edited, acted, written, and directed. It's the best film I've seen all year and the best film I've seen since The Dark Knight came out in theatres. One thing that makes it so fantastic is how it's not political at all. It's a character study with some of the most suspenseful action scenes I've ever seen. My heart was racing the first time I saw it and it still skips a beat in a few scenes. It's as emotionally intense as it is suspenseful. Moon was great, but The Hurt Locker will blow you away, no pun intended.

I've heard nothing but positive comments about these 2 movies and even a friend who says I haven't lived until I see Moon. However, the prices of the 2 Blus are a bit high, so at the current price, is it worth it?
