Sounds great. It's probably one of the best DD 5.1 mixes on the market.

Just keep it.

From the review on this site:
Quote:
Saddled with only a Dolby Digital 5.1 mix, the results are nevertheless mostly spectacular. While the exclusion of a lossless track is indeed unfortunate, Warner does deliver perhaps the best lossy mix I've heard yet on Blu-ray. If you like your action loud, your speakers to get an extended workout, and your ears to scream "uncle" by the end of the picture, this one's for you.

If you really want a Dolby TrueHD track...

The Hong Kong release is about $28-$30 with shipping.

The UK release is available for around $18.70 from Amazon UK.

Personally, the 640kbs DD track sounds great and does have a bit more punch than the DVD's 448kbs DD track.

It's about $16.14 in U.S. funds. The slowest shipping option (around 7-10 days) will run around $5-$6.

It's a tax. As a U.S. resident, you don't have to pay it.

Actually, it's Dolby Digital Plus as it was labeled on the HD DVD, which is the same transfer that was ported over to the Blu Ray version, so it's identical in picture and sound.

Dolby Digital Plus is a higher bit rate than standard Dolby Digital but not quite TrueHD. Either way, it's one of my favorite soundtracks to try out new receivers/speakers or to demo my set up. The standard DD 5.1 track rocks but there's definitely an improvement on the Blu disc and for $9.99, you can't really go wrong. Besides, there's no word on if or when they'll ever do a full remaster with TrueHD, so this is it for the forseeable future.

Actually, WB only used 640 kbps for the DD Plus tracks on HD-DVD, so the standard DD on the Blu-Ray is identical.

Just placed my order.
I also ordered The Bourne Trilogy...total with shipping $47.06.
Now my "new & never viewed, but opened" US version will keep my HDDVD's company.

You should watch the WB release before your Sony disc arrives. It will make you feel even better about your purchase.

those of you that watched the lossy vs. lossless audio, is it THAT significant enough to import it?
