The information i get here is more accurate for me than what amazon.com says...

yes wait till today ,we get direct info from authoring and studio houses in mumbai ..

on amazon it states this for today

Usually ships within 6 to 8 weeks.

Which indicates thye dont have it instock still ..

That sucks! A new way for the studios to trick the consumer!!

I had hoped this would get to me in time for my kid's birthday but no luck there... welll at least there's a bright side to this- the price on Amazon has dropped to 14.99

according to our sources aamir khan has not given big pictures dvd or bd only cinema rights ,we are awaiting more info on this ,maybe this is why the sudden delay as aamir wants to give it to poss walt disney or a international company ,will keep u posted onthe update to this new news

This is not Disney. This is a INDIAN company with a very limited respect of time.

as much as i like the sound of that, i can almost assure you disney will not be picking this up.

the only reason disney picked up taare zameen par, is becuase it is a family film with a central character who is a child overcoming social obstacles. they felt, it was a story that "disney audiences" would relate to.

i dont know about any other company though, unless it is one of the smaller studios, like lionsgate, summit, ifc. IMHO, i dont see it happening.

Rights are with Reliance BIG Home Video. Aamir is not a producer of 3 Idiots, that he can decide whom to give the rights or not. Relaince BIG Pictures have distributed the film, and now they have the rights for the Home Video as well.

Reliance BIG source confirmed it.

Hi Guys,

Have been following this post for quite some time. I did miss out on the movie in the theaters, so was following this post for the release of the Bluray of 3idiots.

I am a close friend of one of the stars of this movie, and have had enuf of waiting for the BD to release!! All I can definitely confirm is that the BD is a long long time away from release. So people dont get your hopes high. I can confirm this news from a very genuine source.

Cheers and hang in there mate!

If anyone in Sydney wants to watch a screening of this movie on a 4K digital screen, in GU, let me know. I am planning to organize a postview( opposed to preview) of this movie.
