Bah.. if NASCAR wouldn't have changed the GWC rule this week, Harvick would have won..

'Rusty Wallace' was my favorite driver during the 90's but since he retired Biffle is the next closest thing for me since I was following his racing back during his 'Craftsman Truck' days so long ago.

Too bad the track was crap today. There's no way that the biggest race of the year should have stoppages like that. The track's should be inspected better and changes should be made well prior to the race. Having said that though the ending was great. No one can say Dale Jr. can't drive. He made some amazing moves to get up to second.

Congrats to Jamie, he deserved the win. Second nice run by Dale Jr. It gives me hope that he will have a good season and maybe compete for the championship this year. Like some have said it was too bad the track sucked the way it did and hopefully Nascar fixes the problem so it dont happen again. But good race and again congrats to Jamie.

Wonder if Jamie Mac will finally have him another good year (he finished 11th a while back I think).

He's a good driver (not great, but still good) that just has NO luck whatsoever.

I like when guys like him do good.

Outside of the track surface issues, a pretty good race there. I think we can safely say that they'll repave after the July race.

Jamie Mac... great guy, good driver (very underrated plate racer), deserved something good to go his way. Loved the post-race interview too. You could tell how much winning that race meant to him. I figured Jr. would've finished 8-11th going into the G-W-C, then he hauled ass and made some crazy moves to finish 2nd. One more lap and I think he could've gotten the win.

I think that by the end of the Phoenix race in April, we'll find out how Jr.'s season will go. Results at three intermediates, two short tracks, and a one-miler should be a microcosm of the entire season, bad luck/decisions aside.

Well onto California...possibly the most boring track on the NASCAR circuit. The track is so wide that everyone gets spread out..zzzzz

Yeah that is up there too. Both Pocono races are 500s this year...too damn long and boring...even the drivers complain how long and boring it is lol

Yes, one of the very main reasons that I do not follow NASCAR like a rabid fan anymore.

Some of these newer tracks are just snooze fests.

Maybe, however it is a BLAST to play on one of those computer simulators and is one of my favorites because of having to downshift through turns ones and three. Ahhh, good times...good times.

Anybody here ever race one of the 'Papyrus' NASCAR simulators on their computer?

The only thing worse than watching Pocono on TV is seeing it live. You need a good set of binoculars to see anything near the tunnel turn.

The one good thing about Pocono though, is that it's not your typical "cookie cutter" track. A lot of drivers liken it to a road course with three long straightaways, due to the three very different turns. It still doesn't make for a great watch, no matter how many deer get onto the track. And that front straightaway is like an airport runway!

The other bad thing about Pocono is that the two races are too close each other, about a month a part.

And the races themselves are boring. You could boil an egg in the time it takes to cover one straightaway.
