The beginning in The Incredible Hulk was shot in Rocinha (Rio de Janeiro) Brazil.....very similar to my homeland of Curitiba, Brazil...makes me appreciate the United States

In the Heat of the Night, the movie filmed in my hometown of Dyersburg, TN. Most of it was cotton fields shot but there is a home in the movie, a large plantation type house that is also in my home town, although it looks signigicantly different now that it was hit by a tornado.

Also the movie US Marshalls shot near Dyersburg. There is a scene where they are chasing Snipes in a wooded lake area. That is Reelfoot Lake about 30 minutes from my hometown.

I'm in Henderson, Nevada (just outside Las Vegas.) Just a mile from my house is the crematory where James Bond (played by Sean Connery) nearly got cremated alive in Diamonds are Forever.

I live in the Kansas City area. As one would expect there's not much going on around here. Ride with the Devil was shot not too far away, as was The Day After. Also, believe it or not, Kansas City was actually shot here by Kansas City native Robert Altman. Mr. and Mrs. Bridge was set here and pulled a bunch of kids from my high school as extras but that was over 20 years ago. Oh, and I think the United States of Tara is set in the town I work in. Not sure why.

Also the TV movie, sometimes they come back based off the Stephen King short story was filmed in Kansas City, and the outer school scenes were filmed at my Junior High in Liberty MO. It was kinda neat, a buddy that lived across the street had one of the cars in his garage because his dad did the paint jobs.

Funny you should mention the Incredible Hulk.

In the fight against the Abomination, when the two titans are rushing towards one another it was filmed on Yonge St. here in Toronto and there's a gigantic neon sign that says "Zanzibar" which is one of the most notorious strip clubs in Toronto.

I live in Calgary, Alberta where such films as Unforgiven ( got to eat dinner with Clint Eastwood, Morgan Freeman was playing the piano, and Gene Hackman, all in this tiny restaraunt in the middle of nowhere), Brokeback Mountain (had drinks with the late Heath Leddger), The Assisnation of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford, the new movie by director Christopher Nolan was filmed just 45 minutes away. Many, many films are filmed here.

I grew up in a town outside of L.A. (Simi Valley), and they filmed a bunch of stuff right in town:

Little House on the Prairie (TV show)
Bachelor Party (The scenes where the bus pulls up to the movie theater and they all run around the place... grew up at that theater)
Sneakers (Robert Redford movie. The building they "broke into" was a Countrywide service center in town.)
Poltergeist (This was cool to drive by and show folks from out of town!)
Star Trek IV (The "headquarters" on Earth. Not the space scenes... )

I live outside of Chicago now, and they filmed Groundhog Day about 20 minutes from us, which is very cool because my wife and I love that movie, and they do a whole week of Groundhog activities each year. They even have a plaque where Bill Murray stepped off the street and into the puddle to commemorate the spot!
