It's a shame, they have been good this series too

I don't really care about the 'next time' trailers as I don't really consider them to be part of the show, but the 2.0 audio downgrade sucks. I can't understand why they would do that. I'll have to hold off buying it for a while to see if they reissue it in the future.

Are they OUT OF THEIR MINDS?

English STEREO sound only???

I hope that's a misprint... if it's not, then, LOL!

Do you think the complete boxset will have 5.1? They have done in the past I'm sure...

I don't really understand the whole upset over next-time trailers... they seem to serve zero purpose on a boxset

What is far more shocking to me is the 2.0 soundtrack.... there is no excuse for that, and is something the fans really should be complaining about

BBC never seem to put a specific region logo/indication on the back of the case, so I presume it could be region free. I can't know for sure though!

It's region free (all BBC titles are) but note its 50hz, so unless you can display 50hz on your player/tv/combination you won't be able to play the disc.

No, the credits are perfectly steady on BBC and BBC HD transmissions.

They're also steady on the BD if you force the "Progressive output" mode to "Video" rather than leave it on "Auto" where it normally is. Unfortunately on the Panny players this means changing the settings each time you put the disc in. It wasn't necessary on previous DW BDs and it shouldn't be necessary on this one. I've complained to 2/Entertain.

Incidentally three things have been confirmed:

The November box set WILL have 5.1 sound. Presumably DTS-HD.

The November box set WILL feature consistent logos, but they'll be the BBC Worldwide ones!

The November box set WILL NOT include the "Next Time" trailers.

I don’t get why they would remove the next time trailers, I am not to bothered by that though as I usually click to skip ahead to the next episode straight away.
