Polish version subs can be disabled. Don't have the movie on hand, but in the audio settings (option to the right of 'scenes') I think its the middle column, the option to the very bottom, if memory serves me right.

I can confirm the polish version has REMOVEABLE subtitles. Although if I recall correctly they did have to be disabled.

I think that is the 1080i Aus version, but can anyone confirm?

Yeah that looks right... looks like it cost $AU45.43, or $40.47 USD shipped, which isn't bad, and it appears to be region free but you need a player that can convert the 50hrz signal to 60 (which thankfully my Samsung does with no problem). I just might import, even though it's only 1080i...

I've had the French Blu-Ray for some time now, but never got around to watching it. My plan is to use my HTPC to remove the forced subtitles. I've already been able to do this successfully with my Green Zone disc, where the commentary audio track was encroaching on the film.

I also have the french version, excellent pq & aq just have to ignore the forced subtitles.
