Think I'll most likely rent the 1st release and buy the special edition. Sounds like there are some terrific extras lined up.

So what happens when they release the film again? Will they add a second disk? Yes. So why not now? And if not they will add the features on the same disc which then means we loose picture and sound quality! I probably sound like im a kid having a tantrum but its just another way to grab our cash and make us believe they are doing us a favour and its ridiculus. I hope nobody buys this thing and waits to buy the version we should have day 1.
I think it's worth bearing in mind that some people don't care about special features, so I'm not gonna bother waiting.

Yes but it wouldnt hurt for them to add another disc with special features on it that way it would cater for everyone but now i will have to wait until November.

Mine has a row of the official retail slipcovers for the BD release all lined up on a shelf with a big pre-order sign above it.

Don't know if i should pre-order online or pick it up at HMV on release day, I know HMV are usually really overpriced in store with old titles, do you think this will be too?

Just had a quick look at it. As expected its the pinnacle of any film I've seen in hidef. Nobody is going to be remotely disappointed by this.

The Blu-Ray is already in some european stores, europe get the imports a few days ahead of street date when they are lucky (they have to ship earlier from the US).

Yeah, I did this once. You pay £20 ($30) for the privelege of owning it first. Sometimes it seems worth it. DVDWORLDUSA don't care about release dates, they get them early and ship them early and even advertise the fact as a service for an extra 2 or 3 ££££.

I hope anyone who wants this has already got their copy or has it pre-ordered because Blockbuster just changed the pre-order price from £14.99 to £21.99.
