Yep, that's the one. I like your name for the Schuylkill better though Let us know if you ever drop by these parts. We'll have to buy you a drink...or three.

Spent a lot of time in Philly eh?

Yes.

Until Mall of America was built it was the biggest, and there's a yuppie mall next door called "The Court", which they're going to build a bridge to to reclaim the title.

Now to really test your Philly knowlege (locals don't help) how do you PRONOUNCE Schuylkill

All you have to do is hop on 76 right from the bridge, its only about 15min once you're in PA

some things we really need to decide is what will happen at these things, so that people can plan for exact date/time

That weekend Beowulf opens, in 3-D!

And the movie theater behind the mall has the only DLP between NYC and DC

Anyone going to Philly up for it? 3-D gives my usual moviegoing partner headaches

I might be up for that. I'll have a better idea once the date gets closer. I plan on seeing it anyway and that's my favorite theater around here. However, their DLP projector could use a little fine-tuning, IMO. The outside edges on some white objects were showing a bit of magenta. Almost looked like convergence was off, but I don't think that's possible with DLP is it? Must be a different type of error.

what movie did you see those artifacts with? The last one I saw in there was transformers

I keep trying to talk the manager into running Lawrence of Arabia in 70mm in the IMAX for just one show, but he won't do it ;(

Not convergence as such, but depending on the light path it is possible for the different wavelengths to have slightly different magnification.

Most often it is a problem with red though being different from 'cyan'.
