Oh god... please don't make this movie. I dare you all to name ONE decent movie based on a game.

The best have been the Resident Evils and MAYBE Tomb Raider. And they're B/B- at best. Consideri Indiana Jones: Crystal Skull - it was a HUGE budget movie with the original actor, current hot actors, and a storied franchise.

AND IT SUCKED.

Considering that most people say the video game itself was a better movie than the lastest Indiana Jones movie, I think it's almost guaranteed that an Uncharted movie will be terrible.

I just finished Uncharted 2 and I have to say, I don't think its possible to do this franchise justice on film. I say that based on Hollywood's current track record with video game films.

If they make a film as good as this game is it would be nothing short of a miracle.

Furthermore, the paper claims Sony is so high on the Uncharted script by Thomas Dean Donnelly and Joshua Oppenheimer (Sahara, the new Conan the Barbarian) that they are considering trying to get the film out by summer 2011. Yes, by next summer. However, that scenario seems a little less likely now that they've shifted the release date of the Kevin James comedy The Zookeeper to summer 2011.

Good, I was just thinking about that the other day wondering if they'd make a movie out of it. Hopefully they keep the same score and if the actors/actresses doing the voice-work are accomplished enough, I'd like to see them keep their roles. They seem to have good chemistry and hopefully that would translate to the big-screen.

The only person I want to see play Drake is Nathan Fillion. He fits the role to a T.

Exactly. Him or James Roday/ Joe Flanigan would make good choices though.

Lets not say it's "fortunately" yet, could end up on it's ass, like they managed to f**k up Max Payne and that was practiclly a movie in the first place.

I can't wait for this movie if they make it like the games or an Indiana jones movie they are good to go. Just have to cast the movie right.

Chris Evans would suck at being Drake. Just because he kinda looks like Drake doesn't mean he can do him justice you also have to be a good actor to do that. There are so many better actors for the role of Drake.
