Good choices. Get an 890FX mobo. I never believed in silent (fanless) builds, as you need sufficient cooling all-around. The ATI stock fan/heatsinks for the cpu are known to be loud, but since you're not filling your case with other fans it should be fine.

I have this (it's HUGE) lol but it would be overkill for your setup if you don't plan to overclock.

ATI graphics card users always face problems or if u if u have the opportunity to buy a new GPU NVIDIA GeForce XFX It's amazing all the updated drivers available in the official Nvidia site, you are getting memory from 128MB graphics card thinking about going for - and the latest games with amazing graphics performance 1 GB .....! That's my opinion because I am Nvidia users, but equally very good.

^^^^^ Correction, people who use their cards in Crossire configuration have more problems than single card users. Same goes for SLI Nvidia users.

very true, but they have gotten a lot better recently.

Also sometimes they are needed. 3 monitor gaming on nvidia requires SLI. ATI can do it on 1 card but the gpu power required for something like 5760x1080 really needs two cards to run at decent fps.

ATI's video decoders seem to be consistently better, UVD 3 just came out with the 6000 series cards. 3-D performance is usually where things are more competitive.

I can vouch for that although I had way less problems then I did with my first crossfire attempt with the 5770 even though I spent about 3 hours with it. Such a shame to.

Hopefully they fix it because the 5770 was my first ati card and I was pretty impressed with it besides from the crossfire let down.
