The perpetual "if you like this, then you will like this" thread

I thought that this would be a great way for people to see new things and something that is pretty close to what they really like. Make sure you think really hard before you put something down, because you have to be absolutely sure. Examples that would NOT work:

"If you like the Matrix, then you'll like Matrix: Reloaded". Even though this is true for me, I do understand it is not true for many people. Here's another bad example:

"If you like Alien, then you'll like Aliens". This is probably closer, but they are still not he same movie at all. If someone has only seen Alien, and then they are suggested to go see Aliens, they will likely be a little confused because it's in a slightly different genre. It's the same thing as "If you like Terminator, then you'll like Terminator 2". Again, this is probably true for most people, but they are not really the same movie.

Above are very hazy examples and are riding on "the fine line". Let's first only put what we are entirely sure of. Here's some that just plain do NOT work:

"If you like The Thing, then you will like Psycho". This would also incorrect. These movies have completely different themes, atmosphere, technical aspects, etc.

"If you like Evil Dead 2, then you will like Army of Darkness". No explanation needed.

Anyhow, let's begin this perpetual process:

* If you like Easy Rider, then you'll like Vanishing Point.

* If you like A Nightmare on Elm Street 3, then you'll like A Nightmare on Elm Street 4

* If you like Friday the 13th part 2, then you'll like Friday the 13th part 3.

* If you like Bloodsport, then you'll like Kickboxer

* If you like Crank, then you'll like Crank 2.

* If you like Madagaskar, you will also like Madagaskar 2: Escape from Africa.

* If you like Toy Story, you will also like Toy Story 2.

* If you like The Godfather, you will like the Godfather part 2.

* If you like The Thing, you will like Prince of Darkness.

* If you like Austin Powers, you will like Austin Powers, you'll like Austin Powers: Spy who Shagged me.

* If you like It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World, you'll like The Gumball Rally.

* If you like Logan's Run, you'll like Equilibrium.

* If you Face Off then you'll like Hard Broiled.

* If you like The Mummy, you will like The Mummy Returns.

* If you like North by Northwest, you will like Saboteur.

I'll start nesting what everyone else puts down and agrees upon into this post. For this to work, there must be three things to happen, and then we could suggest a sticky thread:

(1) Your suggestions are important.

(2) Your disagreements are just as important. With enough, items will be removed.

(3) Your feedback is important. If you try something out from this list, come back and post and let others know how accurate it is.
