I've seen the original one. It was fairly decent as far as I remember.

Did a new episode of The Haunting Hour air on The Hub last night? EpGuides.com says a new episode aired on the channel last night called "Argh V". It also says new episodes are airing on the remaining Saturdays in November. Assuming the episode airing on Saturday 29th November is the season finale, as that will be the 22nd episode of the fourth season.

Argh V aired last night. Only 7 episodes have aired of season 4 so far. We still have plenty of episodes to take us into Dec and maybe Jan depending on breaks.

The episode count hasn't been confirmed yet for season 4 as so far each season has had a different episode count. 1=22, 2=18, 3=26 4=?.

Well, EpGuides.com's episode guide is incorrect with the episode count for some of the previous seasons of The Haunting Hour. Normally they get it correct with updating the seasons for the shows I check EpGuides.com for.

Don't think The Haunting Hour airs in the UK. Decided to get the DVD of the Haunting Hour film Don't Think About It and Shout's first DVD volume of The Haunting Hour.

The confusion likely stems from them making the "last season four" into part of season three. Previously the wiki for the show had episodes S03E15-S03E26 as season four.

But hey, if it gets the episodes on Netflix quicker than it's fine by me.

Have also liked the episode guide website TV Rage. Prefer it to TV.com (TV Tome was a good episode guide website).

Was there a reason why there was a long gap between airings of new episodes (the last new episode aired on The Hub just before Christmas last year, before new episodes resumed at the start of last month)? However, that question is based on the idea that "Season 4" consists of 22 episodes, when at the moment it doesn't.

Doesn't matter if there aren't, but are there episode synopses on the rear sleeve of Shout's DVD volumes of The Haunting Hour? Can remember there being synopses in the DVD boxsets of some of the seasons of Simon & Simon which Shout released, along with the season sets of Kojak.

The reason seems to be that the show had fewer episodes that year. Not sure how many episodes it has this year. Hope we get at least one two-parter.

In my post before last, there was a typo in the reply which mentioned TV Tome. Meant to say that it was a TV guide episode website (have edited the post to say it was a TV guide episode website).

Off-topic, but there was another anthology TV series which aired on Nickelodeon which sounded good, called Deadtime Stories. Unfortunately, it appears to have been cancelled (unless it was only intended to run for one season). On EpGuides.com it says there was a feature length pilot episode, followed by nine aired episodes (there's also one unaired episode). Any sign of a DVD release?

Never been able to find the pilot movie for Deadtime Stories. It's a feature length (75 min.) version of Grave Secrets that they trimmed down to 23 minutes for the first episode.

Don't know about DVDs but the 10 episodes are currently on Amazon Prime if you have that. I enjoyed the series. The babysitter aspect helped set it apart and gives it a good vibe. Jennifer Stone was perfectly cast as the babysitter. For those that like The Haunting Hour you might as well give Deadtime Stories a shot.

Sucks that Grave Secrets doesn't have a DVD release and most likely won't. I saw an episode of the show and I liked it. Haunting Hour is better IMO but I would still check it out.

Netflix also got more Goosebumps today.

Deadtime Stories is a bit different. Some might like it less but overall to me it's about even. I would have been happy for more seasons.

To those who haven't tried it I wouldn't recommend starting with the Grave Secrets episode. It's alright but you do get the feeling of it being incomplete.

Always good to have more Goosebumps!

Any word yet on whether The Haunting Hour has been renewed by The Hub, if the current season has come to an end? Or were the recent new episodes the last episodes being made?

Regarding future DVD volumes from Shout! Factory, I'm hoping it's not the same situation with The Haunting Hour as it was with Peyton Place, with a set number of episodes being released by Shout! Factory and that's it.

Stine has reported that the show has been canceled. Had a feeling this would happen after the hub switched to that discovery channel education crap.
