I'd wait and make sure they're all uncut. New corrected transfers for Legal Wreckin 1 & 2 would be great, but I'm not holding my breath. Aside from that, I can't see any reason not to pick up the set.

I want the set and it's already pre-ordered on Amazon Uk, I just want to make sure that it will be a wise investment.

I don't suppose there is anyway of knowing if any of the films are cut, what sound has been used and what sort of HD transfer has been done?

I too hope it's uncut. I hate hearing when anything on DVD/Blu is cut, puts me off buying it.

Im guessing as long as the films included in the boxset have the same run times listed below they will be Ok?

Lethal Weapon (18) Runtime: 112m 15s
Lethal Weapon 2 (18) Directors Cut - Runtime: 112m 36s cut by 0m 31s
Lethal Weapon 3 (15) - Runtime: 117m 48s
Lethal Weapon 4 (15) - Runtime: 125m 44s cut by 1m 33s

We're getting the theatrical cuts apparently.
And Warner haven't released a censored version of any previously cut titles in the UK.
Batman Returns, Batman Forever, Nico, Tango & Cash, Eraser, etc, etc, etc. All uncut.

If they are the theatrical cuts, old masters and no lossless sound i´m not buying this. Hopefully new masters and DTS-HD then i´ll live with theatrical.

I don't mind if they're the theatrical cuts(I don't already own these movies on blu-ray), but I do mind if they're old masters and they don't have lossless soundtracks. I won't buy them, just as I didn't buy the first crap blu-rays that came out.

Of course, the perfect set would include both the theatrical and director's cuts, a remasterd picture, and lossless soundtrack. I would be in heaven then.

Won't these be region-free since they're Warner? They usually make region-free blu-rays. If so, you should be able to play them. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Well amazon.de is listing separate releases of all four films as well, including the first two which are already out in Germany. I think that that bodes well for new versions.

Pre-order at HMV for £11.99. I think someone's made a mistake. Have to wait and see if they honour it.

That's what I've just done If they do I'd be very happy, even if the transfers don't turn out great.

Count me in with an HMV pre order too. At $25.60 total US I couldn't refuse.
