go read the article on DVD times about UK release.
they state a collectors edition in the press release. If they are wrong then we wont be getting it.

What do you think the price is going to be? I'm guessing it'll be around £50-60 in stores.
I meant the limited edition set and the collector's tin for BTTF.

The Quadrilogy DVD set was £60 when released in 2003, so i'd be surprised if this was less than that, gonna be more likely £70-£80 for the regular boxset.

I know, I've read it. It just seems to be a bit vague because it appears to be just a general press release statement that applies only to the US. I've also haven't found any artwork with the Egg boxset that is for the UK release, which is the main reason I'm curious.

I do hope there is an Egg set here in the UK because it would mean I would be willing to save my money for this big boxset, even more.

Great news.

I look forward to the (eventual) seperate releases of Alien and Aliens. No amount of plastic eggs are going to make me part with £80 for 2 crap movies and extras i'll never watch.

But think of the train-wreck viewing pleasure you can derive from them

While the egg version looks great i think i'll just go for the normal release as i have nowhere to put that on my shelf, besides i don't like the look of how you have to slide the discs in a cardboard sleeve.
**That's one small Alien or one big egg

Well it's good to know that in the UK we are getting we will be getting the Egg set. £80 though is alot of money....

...I think I will get it, but I will have to start saving now. I just think it looks much more slick than the normal version and if anything it'll mean I won't spend as much money beacsue it'll be all going towards the Alien Athonology set.

Thanks for the notification, had a look on Play this morning and could swear that it wasn't on there. Pre-ordered the Egg version. Am going to keep a lookout on other sites that I use though just in case a) it's cheaper or b) I manage to find a discount voucher of sorts.

I was hoping that the price would be sub £100 so I'll justify this as an early Xmas present.

I shall most likely get the egg version also, but will wait untill a pre-order is up for it at Amazon as i prefer Amazon's packaging and for something like that I feel it'll be safer getting here with them than it would HMV or Play.

Can I really justify paying £80 for an egg?

I wonder what the prices for this one are gonna be like in-store...
