I just played the demo and it felt like GTA12 (meaning where GTA will eventually get). The car driving was pretty bad, but the mechanics and moving was better than GTA. But it felt like that kind of game to me.

I downloaded the demo for both my PS3 and computer, and I much prefer it on my computer. The only issue is, there was some slow down when the building was on fire and I was escaping, on max settings. As of right now, I'm unsure what platform to get it for.

well the cars are not going to like GTA. They made the cars feel and drive like they did in the 40's and 50's. Got to love the no power steering. lol. Don't know if that's what you mean?

Oh of course it was cool to have the music from back then. You can look out the window of your house and see all of the things going on.

Just finished up the demo and I'm impressed. So impressed that I'll be buying this game on the 24th as an early birthday present since my b'day is the 25th

I'm hoping that at least the "Mafia 2" is embossed or something...

Just played a bit of the demo, and there was some ridiculous screen tearing, but I guess I've become used to that by now.

Seems fun, I'll likely grab it.

Tried the demo and it's a lot like GTA only it's set in the 40's.

Loved the first mafia, it had very stong story and was very cinematic.

Mafia 2 demo looks very good, and I liked the mission, there is some funny jokes, and I liked the simulation driving, but the normal mode is good also. Thought I noticed some screen tearing, but overall looks like it will be another epic mafia game, PREORDERED

P.s I think mafia and gta should not be compared, yes it's a sandbox game, but they are very different.

Big misconception made by a lot of people that play sand box type of games like GTA's and Maifa I & II.

The difference is GTA games are non linear and are free roaming environments. Mafia II is a linear story based driven game. In Mafia II you basically have to the follow the main story missions, can't do and there arent that many side quests in the game.

That's what most of the reviews have said so far for Mafia II.
