I'm always amazed at the amount of positive things said on these boards. It looks like a fun movie to me. I doubt it will do very well at the B.O. tho, as I haven't seen a single ad on TV for it. . . . . and it is opening the same weekend as Fast Five.

I've seen a ton of ads but I don't think on the network channels during prime time. Yeah with Fast Five opening and this being limited I don't see a great BO intake. Really hope BD/DVD sales can help make a lot of the money back though.

If you hope it does well then make sure you get out and support it . It will probably only be around for one week, two tops. If it's a dud they won't do any more.

I've seen Cemetery Man. I liked that one.

While not going as wide as something like Fast Five, it's still a wide release. It's set for 1,000 theaters this weekend. Fairly wide for something that will likely bomb. If it does 2-3 Million that would be incredibly impressive. Hell, 3 Million would be fantastic for this. I'm predicting $900,000.

I have also seen a ton of ads for this, but not on network TV. They've been on cable channels.

Yeah all the ads I see are from cable to. The budget was $35 million so hopefully they can make close or over that once it's out of theaters and been on home video for awhile. That's cool it's wider then I thought but still sucks it's not playing near me but will be a day 1 buy for sure.

Yeah, the release date is pretty terrible for this flick, unfortunately. A date earlier in the year or in the late summer would have been much better.

I was wondering if any one saw this and how was it? I wanted to see this but they are not playing it at all where I live.

I caught it over the weekend. It was a solid effort. Routh was dependable and solid as usual, but Sam Huntington was hilarious. Perfect comedic timing. It's definitely a pretty good B-movie and I enjoyed it.

I saw it on Monday. I personally loved it, too bad its bombing. Brandon Routh was a terrific straight man and Sam Huntington was hysterical. It was a fun, somewhat cheesy, pretty campy, B-Grade creature feature. I had a blast with it.

Saw this over the weekend, not knowing what to expect.. It wasnt terrible, dragged a tad here and there, but had some decent laughs. Effects were kinda meh, but overall it was a decent watch.
