The screens here looks messed up. Just came from friends place watched this BD quality looks alrite .

I received my copy yesterday when i got home from work. I watched few scenes before going to bed and i must say the picture quality looks nothing like those screenshots posted above. I watched it on 160" screen and trust me if picture looked anything like those screenshots, i would see it. To me, the picture looked great, on par with other BD's from Digital Entertainment. I wish i had a Bluray Drive so i could share some pictures. Someone should delete this thread and start a new one with some proper screenshots. All the posts in this thread are misleading, making people not want to buy this BD. Members are basing their judgement looking at the screenshots when the actual BD look nothing like that.

My friend who has received and seen the BD yesterday told me that the SS posted by bollywoodbluray does not do justice to the actual BD. He said the BD looks much better and I trust him.

My guess was right about bollywoodbluray's capture method. They must be doing something wrong with the SS.

I also suggest the mods to close this thread and someone to reopen a new one with proper screenshots - Rancho, I guess that would be you...

Everything is good according to theatrical screening , color tone etc .

...wow. Did not see that coming. But this is EXCELLENT news for us still interested in buying. I'll take everyone's word for it and order it. I'm biting my words now and wondering HOW screenshots could have been taken that way, lol. But anyway, yes, this thread should get closed to make way for a more accurate one.

*EDIT* I just DDR's screenshots. What a difference! I'll leave it to Rancho to get the accurate shots up here.

Wife just called to inform that my friend's wife brought the BD with her to our place. I have not seen Rajneeti in theatre so I will first see it before buying.

What's the general consensus on the movie?

Will post my thoughts soon in a cople of days...have Lovely Bones, 2012 and Mesrine 1&2 in the queue...

Thanks. It is good to know that it is the third most liked (hit) movie. However, I don't go by Box office verdict as most of the time Indian box office sucess has little relevance to the true quality of the movie.

Eager to watch Rajneeti...hope it is good...

Haven't seen Lovely bones and Mesrine. Seen 2012 and it was the ambituous failure if you mean that...in fact worst than that.... I was quite surprised how John Cussak signed this

I have rented 2012 for my niece who is with us now and she wanted to see this...well, I guess I will be surfing bluray.com while 2012 is on

John Cussak has also recently appeared in Hottub Time Machine so not very surprising for me

I'm glad to see that people are enjoying the quality of the Bluray. As I mentioned in my original post, I thought it was good but based on everyone's comments I thought maybe I'm just missing something. I'm not a seasoned Bluray reviewer.

You have a borrowed copy of the BD at home, you don't go by BO verdicts and you still seek opinion of the movie on a forum that has a very diverse opinion on movies

Go home and watch it and you will know

I know what you mean but there is no harm in in getting some feedback from the forum.... as yuou said, at least there is a possibility of getting diverse opinion and not just a common BO driven verdict.

It is a decent watch, but like so many other Hindi movies, way overrated.

Hm... I enjoyed it. It was pretty long and some parts were a tad dramatized/exaggerated, but it was pretty good. I wouldn't place it in the overrated pile this time.

like bugnest AND ani said DIVERSE opinions on movies.......one says overrated other says its not.............well i also have yet to watch this movie and i have got its blu ray from my dad's friend....will watch it soon and then give MY opinions on the same.......
