is Ginger Snaps on BD then? I've not seen it listed anywhere. There's quite a lot of Lion's Gate horror I'd like to see released, especially Sundown.

I, too, was gonna suggest this. I'm wasn't sure if Hard Candy counts as "Horror", but Nonetheless, it features a great deal of horrifying moments for us men to contemplate.

I highly recommend the OP checks this out considering he asked about suspense movies.

The Paranormal Activity movies are great in my opinion. The first one is already out and the 2nd one comes out on 02/08. Great to watch with the lights out at home.

Also, The Strangers and Blair Witch Project are fun ones as well. Blair Witch gets a little annoying, but it still works.

Might be hard to find, but I enjoyed REC much more than other horror films I've seen in the last couple of years.
Thats true , so many people have suggested titles I already own. I'm not sure about REC, as I watched bits of Qaurintine and wasn't really impressed with how it was filmed and the dark scenes, very hard to see what was going on.

Thanks for all the suggestions. Some titles that stand out to me are...Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Hills Have Eyes, Daybreakers, Frozen, Dawn of the Dead, Pontypool, My Bloody Valentine, Midnight Meat Train, Paranormal Activity. So I will check those out. Oh and I've ordered Hard Candy (looks brillant)

The Fog, Hostel, Martyr's, Identity and High Tension all look good to.

Being a fan of the 80's horror movies and splatters I was positively surprised over the norwegian movie Dead Snow.

It has the same Evil Dead-ish group of youngsters in a secluded cabin plot but with the added twist of nazi-zombies. A good deal of splatter, gore and dark humor as well.

Let the Right One In
Interview with the Vampire
Sweeney Todd
Orphan wasn't bad either imo, but I would give it a rental first, and don't pay more than $10.00.

How could I forget this overlooked movie? Try Clive Barker's Book Of Blood.

I could list quite a few but I'll keep it down to a couple of nice horrors you may have overlooked. I checked out you list and you don't have these:

House Of The Devil
Triangle
The Shining (UK version)

House Of The Devil is a slow burner but I see you have The Shining and The Excorcist so you may appreciate it. I really like it.

I listed the UK version of The Shining because I think it's the superior cut, and it's Kubrick's preferred version.

The triangle has a great plot that will have your head spinning but all the pieces fall into place right at the end and it makes for a shocking and excellent ending.

I only saw one mention of it but I also recommend Midnight Meat Train. It was a blind buy for me but we really enjoyed it.

Thought I'd make an update on my Slasher Movie collection. I've increased a fair bit since I started this thread, currently 37 in the collection with the German Sunfilm Entertainment release of Dark Ride and Hatchet 2 on order.

Yeah I am from the UK hence all the UK releases. I am however region free now so that's opened up a few more Slasher options. My original thinking for opening the thread in the US portion of the forum was that predominately Slashers are American and there are US releases unavailable in the UK. From my perspective its an international search though. As always I'd be happy for more suggestions. I've got my eye on Child's Play, Seed of Chucky and the Black Christmas remake but I'm sure there must be others that escape me.

I have one question for you I live in the USA and I am wondering if the French Bride Of Chucky or The German Dark Ride are region free releases as I would like to add them to my collection. Oh and how was all the boys love Mandy Lane its cheap in the UK was going to import.
