It is not 3D.

its gonna be a 3 disc special edition with the extra scenes in the re released version and 14 or so more mins of extra scenes.

There will be a 3D Blu-ray available this year, packaged with the Panasonic 3D Viera plasma TV. However the article says that it's only relevant for the US market, so I don't know if it will apply to us or not.

Yeah thats if you buy 3D TV so not for sale.
They said sometime next year for release.

I never bought Avatar originally as I was waiting for this but God, which one to get now? I'm not sure I can justify the LCE.
