I'm more upset about the lack of any new special features than the cover art, which is hardly worse than the dvd.

Yeah I agree with the disappointment without the new extras. Hopefully the transfer is DNR free.

Amazon shipped my copies of 'Pleasantville' and 'You've Got Mail' really early this morning. They sent them USPS so there's a (slim) chance they'll get delivered tomorrow. If not, definitely on Monday!

amazon started shipping my copy of 10 today but no movement on Pleasantville and three other Tuesday release day titles.

I figured they would've combined all my PRIME orders together but doesn't look like it.

Pissed that I missed out on the $14 price. $15 isn't a big deal. The MSRP for both this and "YGM" is $20. I wonder if it sticks at $15...or if it increases a bit...decreases a bit...?

bit grainy at times. Wish it was more clearer at the color parts but it's much better than my dvd so i'm happy

We watched 'Pleasantville' this evening. It was even more of a delight than the previous 4-6 times I've seen the movie. It is wonderful motion picture filled with messages about how we humans live our lives. I was ready to turn around and watch it again.

The Blu looked great to me. There's a good bit of grain but, to me, it just looks like a 13-year old movie. I saw nothing serious to complain about.

Like this week's 'You've Got Mail', $13.99 well spent!

I watched Pleasantville on BD over the weekend and set my expectations low, based on what certain reviews had said about the PQ. I was pleasantly surprised. Save for the rare soft shot, I thought it looked gorgeous. The colors, as they began to show up amidst the black and white, truly popped, and some scenes, like the drive through the falling rose blossoms, were downright awe-inspiring. What a great film Pleasantville is...

Ordered this from Amazon when it hit $9.99 and it finally shipped yesterday. Another great February title I didn't even remember being announced but had to pick up when I saw the price. Should be here tomorrow, can't wait.
