I tried giving the show a chance a few times but it's just not funny to me. I'm very selective with comedy shows anyway. I only really watch Modern Family and The Office, and a few others but those are the only two I find really funny.

I also love the Office but I'm not sure if I will watch it next year after Steve is gone. One thing that keeps me watching Office is the mentions of Scranton and the little things like that. I live in a town right next to Scranton and can be at the building they show as the Dunder Mifflin offices in about 10 minutes. Also a few weeks ago one of the newer episodes showed a stress truck(those thing you squeeze to get rid of stress) in the background from my work Kane warehousing. It was pretty cool to see that in a network TV show because it's a pretty small local company.
Now to on topic more I loved this movie a ton and really look forward to it. It sticks me as a love it or hate it comedy luckily I fall on the love it side.

I tried watching it last night, got about a little over an hour into the movie and had to shut it off. It just wasn't funny to me and I could see where it was going, didn't bother wasting my time. Hopefully you folks like it, I'll pass on this one :P

I used to watch the show and and off for a little while and stopped, which was before I had a DVR. I have a thing about watching from the beginning even if it's not a completely serialized show. It really depends on who they might add to the show next year if I'll continue to watch.

Anyway, I know with comedies they're a hit or miss so to say I wouldn't like it because I don't like BBT wouldn't really work. What could you compare Dinner for Schmucks to?

I thought this was pretty good. Not too impressed with the lackluster of features on the blu however.... I'll wait to pick this up when it hits the bargin bin.

This one is not for everyone I recommend a rental first, I saw this in theaters expecting more but seemed to drag too much and the dinner is at the end of the movie and is actually only about 20 mins long. Most of the movie is about Carrell's character trying to befriend Rudd's character. The trailer was very misleading.

I've been disappointed with my recent rentals. This sucked, "Splice" sucked, & "Catfish" was very underwhelming (bogus marketing again).

I like wacky comedies and this one didn't disappoint. I absolutely hated date night so I was wondering about this but I decided to give it a go and am glad i did. The two leads do great work and the secondary characters really entertained. If you like silly comedy ala talladaga nights you probably will enjoy this as well.

I normally LOVE stupid comedies. But this was just SO stupid and unfunny, it made me uncomfortable to watch it.

I was really afraid that this would be the first blu-ray that I ever bought that I would have to immediately sell part way through viewing and follow up with a scalding hot shower afterwards to cleanse myself. I was pleasantly surprised. I really enjoyed it.

it was HORRIBLE. 2/10 at best. Even Steve Carrell wasn't funny and i usually think he's hilarious. Probably the worst movie i've seen all year.

i saw this movie recently before i went out and blind bought it and thank god i watched it before i purchased it because i wouldn't even purchase this movie for 1$. this is the worst comedy i have seen all year and also might i add this is one of the worst movies ive ever seen in my entire life and ive seen a lot of movies. this was also Paul Rudds worst performance, he did horrible, they should of gave his role to Ben Stiller and Steve Carrell was so unfunny, i usually love him but he was horrible in it, it would have been better in Sacha Baron Cohen did his part. Dinner for Schmucks was one of the biggest let downs of all time for me i give it half a star out of 10. the only funny parts are the dead mice. this is a rare type of humor, i guess if u like watching someone be annoying for 2 hours its great and not annoying in a good way. Major failure and thats coming from a guy that liked Strange Wilderness

ALMOST bought this one as a blind buy and boy, I sure am glad that I didn't. This just wasn't funny and parts of it were just plain uncomfortable to watch and just made me sad. They could've cut out about 30 minutes from this thing and I don't think it would've mattered.

I did not like this movie one bit! Glad I got it from Netflix first! I thought it would be a buy! I like Steve Carell, and Paul Rudd, but this movie was a big disappointment
