I would love to order else where too. But I don't have $68+ to burn. I just don't understand why Gouduo has the weight at 550g? If the weight was like the other versions around 350g, then total would be around $60. I would consider it then.

Good luck those people that ordered from Amazon.cn, ya'll need it. Like what jw said, Amazon.ch has one of the shi*iest packaging of all Amazon and on top of that no returns if your steelbook get damaged.

I Left a message for customer service. regarding packaging and returns/refunds. Here's what they said..

I've been scoping Gouduo out for the past 3 weeks LOL! They want $68 shipped and they also jacked up the weight too!

But after reading jw post above, I was a bit concerned. So I decided to check their returns policy and found this clause:

4. 蓝光碟属于特殊产品，签收后不予退货。

which translates to:

4. Blue disc is a special product, after receipt not returned.

I understand some of you have emailed their customer service to check and the response seems to indicate they will send replacements if damaged in transit. Just to be on the safe side, I sent them an email too. Will see what they say.

Apart from the China release, which other release can we order this extended version in steelbook? Any other online retailer that ships internationally? Japan version is too expensive!

Took a risk and pre-ordered. If you use PLASTIC to pay for the STEEL you can always do chargeback if it arrive damaged.

This is not a good idea though... If you do a chargeback with the credit card issuer, you won't be able to use the same card to buy from amazon.cn again. This to me will be too drastic a move.

Furthermore, I don't know if all the international amazon sites are linked somehow? The worse would be all amazon sites are barred from use by the credit card issuer??

Sounds like you have ordered a steelbook or Iron Pack from Amazon China before? Can I please ask which shipping option you chose as they currently offered two shipping options: Normal Mail or Courier Mail

These three words "签收后" literally mean "after signing off on delivery/receipt". So I can't see how it can be the same as "after sales"? With other Amazon sites such as Amazon US, Canada etc, international customers like myself don't have the option to "sign off" on the delivery when choosing normal mail so I can't see how we are "signing off on the receipt" of goods when the parcel is just put into our postbox. Then again, perhaps normal shipping via Amazon China also requires "signature on delivery"??

Either way, if it does require signature on delivery, I will be opening the parcel and inspecting the content before signing it off.

I'm not sure if my wife had to sign for it but I choose the cheapest method. I ordered two "2012" and both were dented and slightly bent. Check the "2012" thread, I think some people had the same problem with them too.

wont work on international purchases, you will have to return it and provide proof
