Both my standard version and hmv exclusive arrived today, both in 'rough feel' sleeves with debossed titles.

Back cover says Region B.

Indeed. Ordered 25th October. Not December haha. Ah well

Could anyone tell me if the UK q&a is in the special features...

The back cover states only English (hard of hearing) subtitles are included.

Not impressed.

Just spoke to Customer Services who gave me the Freepost address to send back to. Will need to include a note specifying why I'm returning it, the fact that I ordered/want the Blu-Ray version and the order no.

They should, but they won't.

Does the none-HMV exclusive version say Special Edition on the slip cover? Is anyone else scared to remove the awful sticker (the one on the HMV exclusive) in case it ruins the slip?

only three things are mentioned on the back of the box:

Making of Doc

Trailer

Directors interview (which could be the Q&A your talking about)

Got my HMV pre-order through today, and to my disappointment the film has been cropped from it's 2.35:1 ratio to 16:9. Made it to around 8 minutes in before giving up, as the framing looks completely wrong.

Been waiting ages for this one, and I'm really not impressed.

Oh No ! To late to cancel my order. This really sucks !!
I should have bought the US BD, but who would think they would mess with the aspect ratio.
Is it really cropped or open matte ?

I don't have anything to directly compare the image to, but it feels as though the image isn't complete. The way some of the shots have been framed suggests that they haven't been opened up to the matte.

I've e-mailed Icon about this, but I'm not too hopeful they'll do anything about it.

Okay, it's definitely been cropped.

I don't have the capability to take screencaps from BR discs, but I've taken a couple of photos of the image on screen. These are provided alongside screenshots of the US Lions Gate release, taken from the reviews section of this website.

I've also e-mailed info@iconfilm.co.uk asking what the hell they're playing at. I'd suggest anybody else who's bought it do the same.
