Project: Metalbeast is a low budget movie about a werewolf with metal armor grafted to its body, but would love to have it on bluray.

my top 5 favorites...

1. An American Werewolf In London
2. The Howling
3. Dog Soldiers
4. The Curse Of The Werewolf (Hammer Films)
5. Ginger Snaps

honorable mentions: The Underworld Series, The Company Of Wolves, Stephen King's Silver Bullet

Wolfen is not a werewolf movie since there aren't any human beings physically changing into the wolves.
Brotherhood of the Wolf is not a werewolf movie, and it's arguable the creature is even a wolf.
The Wolfman I haven't seen yet, although I did see the Benicio Del Toro remake.

My favorites are:
The Howling
The Wolfman (1941)
Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein (nice to see Lugosi and Chaney have fun with their characters. The movie is hilarious and respectful at the same time. Costello's run in's with Chaney as The Wolfman are priceless.
Dog Soldiers
The Wolfman (2010) not a bad movie and Rick Bakers make up is awesome as usual.

Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein is my all-time fav horror/comedy film & this me from Lon Chaney Jr. on Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein

I do agree w/him on the other aspects of horror film, though! I love subtle in horror films, which we definitely do not get today.

I just watched Cursed. It was a lot better than I thought it was going to be. It's very entertaining.

I agree with those who said The Company Of Wolves - brilliant, surreal film. If you can, try and pick up the UK steelbook, as I believe that has a slightly better transfer than the standard version. I own the steelbook and its a decent transfer for an old, low budget film.

The Beast Within is atypical but could be considered a werewolf film; coming in December.

Monster Squad - "the wolfman's got nards!"

Default 4 Werewolf thoughts

1.) Best old school werewolf film - Universal's classic "The Wolf Man"

2.) Best New school werewolf film - "Dog Soldiers"

3.) Most anticipated werewolf film - "Werewolf Women of the SS"

4.) Best Boobage in a werewolf film - Sybil Danning in "Howling 2"

I almost agree about Sybil Danning but Elisabeth Brooks was seriously sexy in the original Howling.

This needs a blu-ray release asap as the DVD is fullscreen plus its an awesome werewolf movie and Katherine Isabelle is great in these films. As far as Cursed goes I like the film its a fun cheesy werewolf film does anyone know if the Canadian blu is better than the one that is out in the USA in a double feature with THEY..I have no interest in owning that film and would like to have Cursed on blu(I have the unrated DVD and will hang onto it as the blu seems to tbe the rated cut) overall they need to release more werewolf films in blu. Oh and is The Company of Wolves Steelbook region free like the regular blu-or not because this site claims its region B

I really like Bad Moon. It's a little dated but not terribly. The violence it pretty brutal.

Warner have Silver Bullet as part of their distribution deal from Paramount. Was hoping they would be announcing it soon for the Halloween season release schedule!

I can wish

I hope. I love this movie. I wish they'd put it out with the R2 commentary for completeness (even though it really isn't that great a commentary).
