I'll have to add The Hunger Games: Songs From District 12 And Beyond to my list of favorite soundtracks. There are a lot of great songs on it!

Even though I do not have a copy of it, the soundtrack to Forest Gump would have to be my most favorite because of there being so many songs played in the movie.

God bless you always!!!

Default Favorite Movie soundtrack

I love movie soundtracks as much as I love movies in general.I think a great soundtrack makes the movie so much better.

I have so many favorites I won't list them all,but a few of my favorite composers are John Barry,Hans Zimmer,Ennio Morricine,John Williams,James Horner,Alan Silvestri.

What soundtracks and composers do you all like, would be nice to hear what others think of movie soundtracks in general,do you think a great soundtrack makes the movie better.

Garden State

And you are absolutely correct. A great soundtrack can really enhance a movie. I love soundtracks.

I don't buy too many score soundtracks. Some I've bought in the last few years are Brokeback Mountain (amazing score!), Monster, and Black Swan. I also have Mean Creek but that isn't only score music. Still, I loved the score for that film.

Garden State is probably my favorite soundtrack. The Crow's soundtrack is really good too.

Definately have to go with two 80's soundtracks.

Top Gun & Teen Wolf.

If we are going for scores?

The Fountain
The Empire Strikes Back
Jaws
Kingdom of Heaven

Most of my favorite movies are so partially cause of their soundtrack. It really brings an extra scale to the movie if the soundtrack is good.
Some of my favorite composers are; Hans Zimmer(with "apprentices"such as H.G.Williams and Klaus Badelt),John Williams, John Powell,Steve Jablonsky and Charlie Clouser.
Some of my favorite soundtracks are(in to specific order);
Gladiator
Star Wars(All of them)
Pirates of the Caribbean(first three)
Lord of The Rings(All of them)
The Dark Knight
Transformers;Revenge of the fallen
Shrek 1 and 2
Saw
The Rock
