Received mine from Sainsburys Entertainment this morning having only been despatched last night!

PQ is pretty good, lots of grain. However, much like Midnight Cowboy, Fox seem to be churning out these very important films with no restoration as quite frequently there are marks and spots of film damage which is a shame.

Did it come with a slipcover? Pics on retailers sites suggest it did but I was unsure if it would to be honest.

As someone pointed out with Midnight Cowboy, the fault lies with MGM, the studio; Fox merely distributes what MGM gives them.

Fox restores its own catalog titles where necessary; though they had some early screw-ups (Patton, The French Connection), more recently they've done much better (The Sound of Music, All About Eve)--and they're even supposed to revisit Patton later this year. OTOH, few if any MGM titles have ever undergone a BD-specific restoration; even the Bond BDs came from restorations intended for DVD. (Perhaps MGM's best catalog BD PQ-wise is Dances With Wolves, but that belongs to WB in the UK.)

Haven't had a chance to look at it yet - bought a new cabinet today to store my blu rays so been busy painting that lol.

Is the English track just a typical DTS track (Full bit rate? DVD bit rate), or is it a DTS-HD Master Audio track.
