(Y'know, just hinting, but That Darn Facebook just picked up the ACE Editing award--
And for old vet Oscar watchers, the race is over after Editing. All betting windows are closed.

No offense, haven't even seen Social yet, and by all rights, this should have been Toy Story's year to shut the industry fans up--
Just that every Oscar year has folks flocking to the Critical favorite that ends up just going away with the Best Actor, but there are some on contest or betting-pool sites who might need to know, and it wouldn't be fair to them not to point out.)

Just a short time left to get your picks in or edit the onces you already have in. I will be printing the picks at the closing time of the submission period and asking a mod to lock the thread. The results will be posted sometime after the Oscar Telecast, probably a few days after. The winner will receive eternal glory, as no prize was ever really discussed.

Oh. Well. Bummer, then.

(Just as a note of caution to those picking Day & Night for Animated Short because it's "the one they'd heard of": It never is.
Usually goes to the "artsy" one, and my jockey's on the watercolor Madagascar thingy. Haven't even seen it, as our arthouse isn't screening the shorts till next week, but don't say didn't warn ya.)

I agree, but yet again, it's rather hard to catch most the short films.
