Really? You found it neccessary to turn this into an international incident?

Nothing in this debate has anything to do with age (as some have suggested) and it certainly has nothing to do with nationality. I'm amazed that anyone would willing choose the wrong side of a debate simply because of the country they happen to be in. The forum rules are clear about what the Hot Deals Forum is to be used for. Anyone not familiar with them should take a look. The OP was called out for not following the rules and could have simply said sorry, but instead choose to begin insulting everyone they came in contact with.

To answer your question; It isn't hard at all. I choose to visit several sections of the Hot Deals Forum because there are titles available in Canada and the UK that are not available in the US, and in some cases there are deals to be had across the border that are better than here in the states

I have a question for you now (and the OP):
Why is so hard for people to follow the rules of the forum?

Says the guy breaking the rules...

Quote:
Also don't insult the posters by saying that they or their thread doesn't belong here. The mods are on top of which topics need to be in which areas of the site and it will be taken care of. If you do know of another thread already covering the topic, kindly post the link to it and that it's already posted elsewhere. 'Use the search' is not the same thing and accomplishes nothing. Report the post and tell us why it doesn't belong.
If you quote a message that has been removed, your post will be removed also, so don't quote flag-worthy material.
BTW, what I said was an joke between us about the Americans that always seem to accidentally wander in here.

I will answer your question though.

The rules can only be viewed on the Movies and TV Deals Forums. Most posters don't leave this section, so they don't know it exists. Combine the fact that there's clearly a lack of moderation (or they don't seem to care) in this section and you get your answer. Feel free to take it up with the authorities if you'd like.

2) TRUE BLOOD SEASON 2
3) DEADWOOD

Thanks to "antoinedoinel" who was NICE enough to point me to AMAZON.UK to buy them
(TRUE BLOOD SEASON 1 & 2) both for $65.xx

So, "mtugodfath3r" now do the MATH 4-2 = 2 (YEAH!) DEADWOOD/JOHN ADAMS

Older members can still do their "Winning & Complying" and type of essays of responses because there are other people that are taking advantage of this thread like picking up ROME/PACIFIC at good prices.

Please "old geezers" resume your protest
So in other words, yes, you did originally make this thread asking for help on FOUR titles, but edited your OP to try to try to make it seem like asking for 2 wasn't such a big deal. Glad you cleared that up for us.

You literally have the world at your fingertips with a little something called the internet. If you're questioning whether or not to pick up Deadwood or John Adams, why not visit their respective threads rather than starting a brand new one to ask people's opinions? This forum in itself is a huge help if you would have just taken the time to do a simple search. However, it won't take long for the "older members" (aka the regualrs who post a majority of the deals, reviews, ect.) of this forum to not give you the time of day when ask for help, if you continue to feel the need to insult ever other post.

Default Enough is enough!

ok this has gone too far,
apparently every response that i make to other people's rude comments becomes an insult
(WHICH IS NOT MY INTENT) to them.

so i have decided to UPDATE/Change the 1st page of this thread from making it for all about me to something that everyone else can appreciate.

i have listed the cheapest prices/stores for each HBO show.

BTW, I did pick up DEADWOOD from BESTBUY earlier today after getting them PRICE MATCH'd with AMAZON.CA & used $25 REWARD ZONE POINTS

so roughly about 110+taxes (pretty good for 3 seasons) that's like $36 each!

Once again, no disrespect to anyone. i was only responding to how other members were leaving comments that i thought were rude & sarcastic to me.
peace & lets all be happy

Lets either just kill this thread or turn it into an ongoing HBO deals thread. A poll is a little unecessary, since there's already discussion threads elsewhere.

As of now tabacoff = A TRUE Definition of a HATER.

FYI, i was never wrong, caz i got what i wanted and with a help of few members i managed to save over $50 bucks. So, you can keep on HatinG

I would like to keep this thread going as a HBO deals caz all of the others thread don't really have every HBO title listed in one thread.

Also, i was recommended this website DVDPACIFIC, and apparently they do not charge IMPORT fees like amazon.com does. i will update the 1st page soon with the listed prices

i know i know, i didn't put WIRE, SOPRANOS & ENTOURAGE on the poll.
That's because their entire seasons are not out on blu ray yet.
so you cant really compare BAND OF BROTHERS blu ray set to THE WIRE dvd set.

lol bro 1st off no-offense you really think these 3 shows would fit the best of hbo?
2ndly, don't each of these shows only have their first seasons released on blu ray?
i knew about these 3 shows but didn't bother putting them next to shows like ROME/BAND OF BROTHERS & DEADWOOD
