Emerald Knights will have a similar approach to Gotham knight...mini stories ala Halo legends. I think thats why the comparison.

At least the art style will stay the same. That's all I really hated about GK. Keyword being hated, because I didn't like other stuff too.

It's one of the best dc animated movies in my opinion. You should enjoy it, and nice job getting the green case

Hopefully this one will be good as well. I've liked the DC movies so fare with the exception of Gotham Knight which was awful. The best part of that show was when it ended. Now I just need to find some free time to watch All Star Superman.

Hmmm, I don't know. I kinda liked First Flight and I'm really looking forward to the live action movie, but this... well, let's just say tha bar was raised for the DC animated movies after Batman: Under the Red Hood and All-Star Superman, and this doesn't really seem to be in the same league. I hope I'm proven wrong,..

Looks pretty decent. A hell of a lot better than the Batman: Gotham Knight movie. That was terrible.

I did. The short length and week first half were serious flaws but it told some pretty good Batman stories. Some kick ass animated fight scenes and some great character devolopement for Bruce Wayne. It also fit into the Nolanverse quite well.

I think it deserves a soild B- and is better then either of the Superman/Batman movies and better then Mystery of Batwoman. Though I agree it could have been better

Heh. Well, you found someone who likes it RJ. Frankly, I think it was the worst DTV film. And was worse than the Nolan films.

Nolans movies are brilliants and anyone who doesn't think so simply lacks any and all taste

No. They simply don't share your tastes. That's simply not "My Batman", nuff said.

I shared your feelings the first time I read a comment by Beast against the Nolan Batman films, but after a while it became an opportunity to develop my appreciation for differring opinions. Especially since he is such a big fan of comics and the movies they spawn.

The simple fact that you do have an appreciation for Batman and comics allows me to accept your hatred for them. But also the fact that you own them...anyone who paid their money for something has the right to bash it all they want.

I almost forgot about Under The Red Hood. First Flight is the second best, although I've never seen Wonder Women.

I appreciate comics. But I find Batman almost works better in cartoons than comics, and certainly better than he does in the films. For instance I like the Batman: Animated Series, and Batman: Brave and the Bold. And while I'm not a big DC Comics fan, I like the toons and such. I just like my Batman a bit more fantastic. All takes on the Dark Knight are valid, I just prefer Adam West and the Bat-Tusi to Christian Bale and the Bat Growl.

And yeah, I own both Nolan films. I have come to somewhat enjoy Batman Begins. But The Dark Knight just doesn't work for me at all.
But it does have some fantastic extras. The history channel (I believe?) documentaries about The Tech And Psychology of Batman are aces.
