Nice. I'll take the first 2, and maybe FDTD if it's an upgrade over the Canadian release.

Pre-orders are up at Amazon as well for $13.99 each, althought I can't find Halloween H20 yet:

The Crow: City of Angels Blu-ray
From Dusk Till Dawn Blu-ray
The Yards Blu-ray

I am so pleasantly surprised by the impending Halloween H20 release. I have always really enjoyed that film and considered it one of the only worthy Halloween films after Carpenter's brilliant original and will most definitely pick it up at some point before the fall.

Now if Universal would just release Halloween II, my Blu Halloween trilogy will be complete!

IKR! Cannot wait for the original Halloween II Blu release. Hopefully we get it this year.

Completely agree! Those are the only three I care to own, and will own. It's a great trilogy together.

These 4 titles appear to be Best Buy timed exclusives. I saw all of them today, and other people have reported seeing them. I bought H20 and The Crow 2.

Got the Crow 2 BD and was comparing it with my DVD and it really is not that much of an upgrade in PQ. It's slightly sharper then the DVD, but not by much. Sound is DTA-HD MA 2.0 and sounds good, but could have been much better. For $10 bucks it's not to bad if you don't have the special edition DVD, if you have the DVD then just stick with that.

One thing I did notice was the BD is not the slightly longer Directors Cut like the old special edition DVD.

I think I'm only going to get the one's on BD that weren't released in 16x9 widescreen on DVD, like Hellriaser: Bloodline.

I must have Duplex & Don't Be a Menace...
but after reading about EB's treatment of From Dusk Till Dawn, I'm leery.

I'm watching it right now, and I'm surprised how good it looks. It's not great, but better than I was expecting. Bitrate average is in the mid-20s.

Yeah it's not bad for a bargain bin BD.

Can you check to see if it's 1080i or p. My TV is saying 1080i when I hit the info button on the TV remote.

I can't figure out how to make my TV display the resolution.

My player says 1080p.

I think they do. Good luck to them in making it as good as the Japanese release.
