Hi guys wish i could show my collection might post up a some pics next week but will only be a small fraction of what i have,i have some in a wall sliding door shelf, which i got many years ago and just love them, which for some years now you cant get anymore,so will try and post them up sometime,i have probably another 500 of them boxed in these to keep them tidy and free from damage etc:

http://www.argos.co.uk/webapp/wcs/st...tId=1500905921

Only started collecting jan 2010 and so far have 600 blu rays all uk editions apart from say a hand full of usa ones and about 36 boxests also.

I wish i could display them in all in units etc but i just not got the room and i do have a few units purchased for this, but i will probably be moving overseas in the next year so rather leave them stuck away for now and not on display.
I am dying though to set up my units and have them all on display etc but this is gonna have to wait as when i move overseas i plan on having a cinema room where all these will look the part.

I was wondering though i do have this very large black flight case thing that i store some of my music cds in,i have seen once a guy with one which was huge, and wondered where i could get such item so i could stick my blu rays in,as these things would need to be shipped when i move and to be honest i am looking for something to put them in so there are secure, maybe lockable and safe from damage as this case i have for my cds is very strong.
I could use my argos boxes as above, and might do so yet but they are just plastic and would hate if one or two got damaged and some of my blu rays did to or got lost.

Maybe you guys have an idea of the item i am thinking of,flightcase or something but needs to be huge, its a while before i am going and probably by that time and if my collecting is going at same rate i will probably have double of what i have now.

Gonna need a big cinema room me thinks

Cd Cases. Not sure if you want to store the boxes or just the discs. I've seen large artist style cases which will hold hundreds of discs but can't seem to find them.

No flashy storage unit here (just some shelves I've had in my room since I was 8). Put in genre order. There are a few DVD's on the third shelf due to them needing to be housed somewhere.

Frankly I'd prefer to have a clean, solid setup like yours. My DVD/Blu collection built over time so I gradually added more and more shelves to the point now that I have a 4 shelve storage unit with my games, ten 2 foot shelves and four 3 foot shelves lol

To be fair though, the size of the room where I keep them doesn't really allow for anything else.
At best I could replace the five 2 foot shelves on the right and the storage unit with a big 8 or 9 shelve unit and on left side maybe four 5 foot shelves instead of 3 & 2 foot shelves joining.
But then after all of that, it would probably just look the same anyway

Every single blu-ray I own.

Everything else is DVD for now.

Double-rowed set up as I have way too many DVDs to pack away, lol. Looking into adding extra weight support for my shelves. Shelf unit backing added myself as the supplied one was below requirements.

Apologies for pictures as my camera doesn't do wide shots very well. T3 blu-ray autographed by Kristanna Loken (T-X) and DW season 31/series 5 steelbook autographed by Matt Smith (11th Doctor) and Karen Gillan (Amy Pond).

A few autographed DVDs aswell.

Nice to see someone else who organises by genre in a similar way to me.

Awesome collections, guys. I was going to comment on every single post so far but I figured a collective "your stuff is awesome" would make more sense. Even the smaller collections are brilliant.

As soon as I get the last blus I ordered in the post, I'll try and get a decent pic of mine. I've just had to store a load of my TV DVD boxsets in a plastic crate to make room for my blus - sad, but it had to be done. One day they will all live in harmony in a cinema room.

I arrange mine by studio with TV stuff alphabetical (TV animation is separate again), the movies start with slips first then the nude ones after that.

I was going to take a pic but after I put them on the bed they became shy and wouldn't participate in my impromtu photoshoot. It seems they've developed an inferiority complex and they won't have their picture taken unless they have new shelves to pose with! Blu-ray Divas the lot of them!

This is my collection. Got my Blu ray player on 15th January 2011 and having been loving it ever since the switch from DVD.

I have 2 of these cabinets, the other which is holding some xbox games will soon be getting invaded by Blu's if my collection keeps growing

My collection is organised in a way that makes total sense in my head but is impossible to explain. I have my Disney animated classics in chronological order, Pixar films in chronological order apart from sequels going in beside the movie they follow. Then Disney live action, chronological order again. Next is my comic book/super hero section. This is grouped into marvel/DC, with each if those groups in chronological order, then I have several others grouped by author of the original comic :s and this flows into 'movies based on books'.

Next is foreign language films, then action, then a Tarantino section, a Guy Ritchie section and an Edgar Wright section. Then my sci-fi stuff in chronological order, and then at the end I have remaining movies in chronological order as there's not enough for proper genre sections.

That sounds really cool, I wish I could organize mine like that, but mine are just Disney Classics in chronological order, then Pixars alphabetical, and then just movies alphabetical, then TV boxsets alphabetical.

And here are a couple of pictures of my collection, been seriously collecting since July 2010, though I bought 4 beforehand in 2009 (when I first joined this site back in August 2009).

My humble collection:

Note: Only the top two shelves are Blu-rays, the rest are DVD. I have over 550 DVDs, a lot of them aren't on the shelf as I've ran out of room and are instead in my cupboard.

More:

[Show spoiler]

Missing: Paranormal Activity 2 and Eden Lake, my sister has borrowed those.

You can also click on my Home Theater Gallery on the side there to see pictures of my blu-rays with slipcovers more up close.

Humble?! That's a terrific collection, buddy! Very varied and a nice collection of slips, too. You really make a little look like a lot. I was shocked to see only 191 BDs in your collection. I thought it was a lot more.
