Man this is so disappointing! There is no word on this title being released worldwide...No UK or Australia release. And this version from U.S is locked...

Utter disappointment. I'm not going to buy a 700$ region free player for this or anything, but it's so annoying

I feel that this movie is as telling of a story as Stand By Me. And The Mighty Ducks! I want them all in my blu collection for nostalgia. Not just one!

edit: At least if The 'Burbs is only released as a NA title to start, it'll be universal and I can import some region free nostalgia goodness.

Sorry, not trying to dig up an old thread...

But I was watching this last night and noticed alot of stretched out looking shots. Faces almost warped in some shots. Anyone with this movie also seen this???

It's definitely noticeable to me. It's stretched like a trapezoid.

Now on Disney+. Looks to be using the latest 4K scan master that was done awhile ago. HD but not UHD.

He was a great character actor. The Blob, Air America, WarGames...guy was in a lot of movies (and TV shows).

Just got news. Sandlot will get a new 30th anniversary edition in 2023. Will be in 4K.
Audio has not been confirmed yet. I hope we get a 5.1 or 7.1 or DTS:X.

What would be cool, would be a collectors card pack of the Sandlot.

HDmovies. Also was curious and called the studios. It was on AXSTV. They showed trailers for anniversary movies coming to theaters in 2022-2023.
