When the DVD came out it cost about £8.99 to the market, the Blu-ray isn't much more, since I gave my The Incredibles double disc DVD edition to my nephew I'll have to order this later.
Dragon Ball Z Kai Part Five, Akira Steelbook Manga's UK and now The Incredibles. |

I got a question about this release.
Is it going to be exactly like the US release or will they shrink something to make it smaller? |

Damn it.
They should blame themselves if people import than buy from the own country. I'll buy the US BD later then, tend to like more the US BD's than UK's if they're region B compatible, that is. ![]() |

Sorry for the dead thread revival, but rather than make a new thread for Incredibles 2 I thought I'd just add to the discussion here. Having loved the movie at the cinema (just a couple rungs short of the first film), I waited till the blu reached what I consider a doable price. I opted for the 3D edition even though I don't have a 3D capable player and display, purely so I could get the extras disc missing from the UK 2D-only edition (and it was only a couple quid more).
While this blu has the same damped down master volume issue that many recent Disney releases have, I found that, unlike my anemic experience with Thor:Ragnarok's audio even at elevated levels, raising the volume to an acceptable level delivers a very potent bass with no equalizer fiddling, so I'm quite satisfied with the audio. Image quality of course is fantastic, and the extras are decent. The bonus disc isn't what I would describe as stacked or insightful (there's very little on how the sequel evolved in terms of story and character or how the animation style is advanced from its predecessor), but the featurette on Pixar employees talking about juggling work and parenting is nice. Looking forward to hearing Brad on the commentary track (he seems to have the beginnings of a double chin now, go out and get some exercise, dude!) |
