I've never understood why Criterion did that? considering Warner Bros. 65mm transfers have for the most part looked stellar, Playtime's PQ doesn't hold a candle to those bluray releases. I've even seen 'Playtime' in 70mm and the bluray does not replicate that memorable visual experience.
