I've got a person of interest thread I made awhile back, are you two planning on watching? It looks like it could be really strong.

I'll be tuning in to the pilot but have a feeling it's something I'll stick with in the end.

It seems to me like the show The Cape wanted to be, but then it had horrible casting and a superhero with a magic cape.

I am wondering though why every network is announcing this weekend. So what exactly is the point of Upfronts this week? I've never seen every network jump the gun so much.

Both CSI:NY and Blue Bloods season finales were written as possible final episodes. Just in case CBS does pull the plug on them.

They have to start now because scripted shows like Smallville involve a complicated writing process, not just throwing darts against a board covered with plot ideas...wait, I take that back.

Hahah yeah, I was reading the sentences thinking it's either a dart board or manatees, but then I read the last part.

CBS Picks Up 3 More New Shows: 'The 2-2' (FKA 'Rookies), 'Unforgettable' (FKA 'The Rememberer') and 'How To Be a Gentleman

Quote:
CBS has picked up 3 more new series – two dramas and a sitcom. The dramas are The 2-2 (formerly known as Rookies) and Unforgettable (formerly known as The Rememberer). The comedy is How To Be a Gentleman. On Friday CBS announced it had picked up the drama Person of Interest and the comedy Two Broke Girls.

One way or the other Unforgettable is sure to provide some fun headlines. Thank you CBS!

There's already a reality show called Rookies which may be why they changed it. I do agree though that 2-2 is one of the worst titles I have seen and anything else would be better IMO.

This reminds me of when Justified was known as Lawman for at least a full year and shortly before premiere they changed the title because of Steven Seagal's reality show. Hell they could have just gone with "New Boots" for this, I'd prefer that over 2-2

Never knew that and happy they changed it as Justified is so much better then Lawman. Really hope they change the title to something better or this show may be DOA.

Yeah I figured that may have had something to do with it but wasn't sure. Will be interesting to see how the title affects this show if they do keep it as 2-2.

The CW to pick up reality series 'H8R' hosted by Mario Lopez

Quote:
Want to express your hatred for a certain celebrity to their face? Oh, you do? Well, The CW is here to help.

The network is set to pick up a new reality series "H8R" for the fall, which pairs people with celebrities they detest, Deadline reports. The CW is expected to announce "H8R's" pick up along with "Ringer" starring Sarah Michelle Gellar at its upfront presentation on Thursday, May 19.

"H8R" is hosted by Mario Lopez and brings celebrities face-to-face with their haters in an effort to convince them that their animosity is misdirected. Reality stars Snooki and Kim Kardashian are some of the featured celebrities.

The network has been looking for a new reality series to pair with "America's Next Top Model" and believe "H8R" is the right series. Along with hosting the show, Lopez is also executive producing.
