As there is no way to find a L.E. blu-ray as a reasonable price, I plan to buy the standard version. I have the LE DVD version. So, I am not in a hurry to buy the blu-ray. But if the standard version is also limited without re-print, I need to buy it earlier. Thanks!
I have 4 versions of the standard DVD, (kept reading version X had cut screens, short subs that missed many points.) the good one I got was the last, the subs were fine on the others but this version was longer and the subs were so much more detailed as the other person said it seemed like a whole different movie, so much more depth.

I wish I could remember who put it out, perhaps I could look if you want me too.

The Blu Ray is the exact same as the best standard version I have. (Well, Other than it's a Blu Ray...)

As you can tell this is perhaps my favorite movie.

I don't think that's an error as such, but simply a part of the way it was transferred. A Tale of Two Sisters does the same.

This may not matter, I am hardcore into sound, Home theater is my Harley so to speak and the audio only was about the same cost.

If you have a 7.1 System the Blu is one of the rare disks recorded in 7.1 and though laided back it makes good use of the 4 surrounds.

Likely only me but if you have a 7.1 System it's a nice bonus, I was overjoyed.

I bought the 2nd press (amaray) a while ago and just finally received the 1st press from asiandb. I tested both discs on my BD-ROM (Samsung SH-B123L). There error is definitely there on the 1st press but not 2nd press. I couldn't find anything different with the discs physically. The disc front is identical and the matrix numbers on back looked the same: if I read them correctly they are 100095-4 cjent-0002-0 and 100096-cjent 0002-1 on both discs. I suppose I can swap the discs and try to find someone in Korea who wants the amaray version for cheap and they can just exchange the disc.

I just bought the second edition pressing, got it yeasterday and it works fine, my first edition is bad like yours.

FOR those of you that are in the US. Email to the link a ways back in this thread about a replacement disk and you will find June to be very understanding. My new disk should be on it's way in a few days, if you bought from YesAsia as was stated awhile back, you will automatically be shipped a replacement, no need to email.

What would be the cheapest place to purchase this film? I looked for it on eBay and YESAsia but it's rather pricey.

I may have a deal for you, once I found out my first print was bad I ordered the 2nd printing of Amazon and forgot I had a bid on the same on Ebay.

Now they are going to replace my first edition disk.

That will leave me with three Blu Rays.

Right now all I have is the bad first printing and one good second edition that was new I got a week ago.

The Ebay one is on it's way, and the first edition replacement should be sent anyday now.

They are hard to get for under $40.00, you give me time for the other two to show, (two or three weeks?), I'll go $20.00 plus honest shipping on the Ebay one that is new in wrap and from someone I have bought from before (IE it won't be a bootleg, it will be the real thing out of Korea.)

The disk are supposed to "start" to ship this week so even if it's a month process it should not be that far off.

Though if you are

1. Not In Korea or

2. You did not buy from YesAsia

You need to email them.

Hmmmmmm...didn't someone say that CJ would only replace disks to customers living in Korea!? I hope I mis-read that. If so, whom would I contact to get a replacement?

Thanks!

Thanks!

You did not misread it BUT, go back in this thread and find the link to the email address, you will end up talking to June, since you will be an exception play nice, ask what can be done, keep in mind if you get too demanding you might shoot yourself in the foot, it may take two or three emails.

That all said June is very nice and understanding and customer orientated. I think you will find some rules are flexible, I did.

PS: All Credit to xradman!

I purchased mine on eBay a long time ago, so I e-mailed June a few days ago about a possible replacement and she simply asked me to take a photo of my copy of the movie and e-mail it to her along with my mailing address / phone number since I do not live in Korea.

Yeah, so did I.

I'd already contacted June @ U-Tech Media, though,
and they should be sending me a corrected disc,
so I'll keep the K2DVD option in mind in case the U-Tech disc fails to arrive for some reason.

Gotta love Korean customer service!

I talked to June a couple weeks ago and even offered to pay for the shipping to the US, but she said that they would not be necessary and they would send it out to me.

If it comes that would be great. But she also said they would send me Arahan and that never happened. Luckily I ordered that one through K2 and they sent me a copy. But for MOM I bought it off the trading forum on this site

Anyone that is in the US or close who talked to June and sent her a picture of the disk (not a Yesasia auto replacement) please let us know when you get your disk so we know when we should roughly expect ours.

Thanks a ton.

Where did you hear this from? I emailed YesAsia about the situation two weeks ago and all they said was they're "checking the relevant details from supplier" as if they weren't even aware of the problem.
