The Shawshank Redemption

The most overrated movie in the history of movies.

Paranormal Activity, as mentioned, was an over hyped mess. Not nearly to the extent as the one mentioned above though.

Very over-rated movie. I agree that a few parts were good but the vast majority was pretty boring.

Definitely "No Country For Old Men".

It`s never a good sign when I´m thinking "I´m bored" and "Oh, aren´t we artsy", in a sarcastic matter, throughout a movie.

I forgot about "The Hurt Locker". I guess "No Country For Old Men" just annoys me that much.

Why is this considered one of the best movies of 2009.
The acting is ok , I guess (though the dialog is silly), but the rest of the movie is totally uninteresting.

All the American Pie movies and other raunchy comedies like it. They're just garbage.

All the Saw movies and other torture flicks. They're not scary and they're completely predictable. Here's the pattern: Some young people go out on vacation and then get stuck somewhere where there's 1 or more inbred, cannibal hillbilly/mutants waiting to prey on them. They all get killed, save one girl who makes it out alive in the end. There's been no innovation since the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Enough already!

Well to each his own. It's a 3 minute or so scene where one of the main characters simplifies lord of the rings to a co worker and customer. who loves lord of the rings. And they rag on Lucas.
