I've officially dropped this series. Just caught the second episode and it was another 42 minutes of my time wasted. It was like 42 minutes of video footage with no plot. Least I've finally turned onto Chicago Fire and Chicago P.D.

I don't have a problem with this season so far... everyone seems to be acting in character, according to the new status quo. I was surprised they sent Mike to prison, though... it seems like something they would have held out until the end as a threat to hold over him in a two-part finale... but it's interesting to see where they will go with this.
Mike could end up getting out of prison and working for the investment firm that is leasing office space there. |

Suits has been renewed for a 7th season. It'll be interesting to see where the show goes when Mike gets out of prison but can't practice law.

The Mike stuff got interesting. There's the potential for his friend to become his enemy and his enemy to become his friend.
But this stuff with Harvey and Louis always being hot-headed and creating new enemies is getting old. Also, what are the odds that the person Rachel gets off death row has it out for one of the other characters? |

Mike doesn't have to do anything. His cellmate only has to think he's going to turn on him to set something into motion where all hell breaks loose. Half of the drama on the show stems from misunderstandings or wrongly assuming what someone else is doing.

So what's the twist with Rachel's case? Obviously there won't just be a feel good story here.
Does Rachel find out he's guilty after she gets him out? Is he innocent but kills the real killer when he's released and then winds back up in prison? Does Rachel free him but he gets killed before he can be released? Will his case somehow ended up tied in with Gallo in some convoluted way? |

So Louis asks Donna for a non-work favor and then tears her head off for no reason because he doesn't think she's putting enough effort into it. They try to explain it away at the end, but that scene is so typical of Suits. Half the show is just them yelling at each other because they're hot heads who speak first and think later.

This season has been a complete bore-fest for me and it's become just another "life of an inmate" series. I've always known they would get Mike out of jail, it's a tired old cliche. My guess? Mike will be given a license to practice law as he's released due to some information he manages to get for Cahill, through wranglings perpetrated by Harvey, which was a deal that the previous prosecutor offered to Mike for turning on Harvey.
I've simply lost interest in this series with this season because it's nothing more than a dull season. I expect something more from the writers and the production team. |

This current storyline is just BS! If anything, they should have ended the series with Mike getting arrested and being offered to turn on Pearson, Spector and Litt to avoid jailtime. Even if Mike is released from prison, he wouldn't be able to get a job working at a law firm, even as a para-legal because of his unethical run as a fake lawyer.

I finally caught up with last week's episode last night. I used to always watch Suits the night it aired and it was one of my favorite shows, but now I'm practically dreading watching the show because it's not enjoyable. I'll stick with it through the rest of the season but something is going to have to change to keep me much longer.

The latest concoction from the producers of this show?
[Show spoiler] Just what reality does the production team and the writers live in? There's no way this would happen in real life.Let's examine what happened: a suspect or convicted felon helps obtain evidence for a prosecutor in arrangement for a deal to get out of prison or jail. Then, the prosecutor or the government decides not to honor the deal but they still have the evidence that they received through the assistance of the convicted felon. First, that would never happen because the prosecutors for the state or federal government would be screwing themselves in the future because no convicted felon would ever help another prosecutor in the future for the fear of their agreement being revoked. Second, any attorney in their right mind would have gotten that agreement in writing, signed and authorized by those in the government with details of the agreement to have the felon released from jail. Harvey Spector is not a good attorney because it's obvious that he didn't get the agreement in writing. Additionally, once the prosecutor got the information they needed, they should have arranged for Mike to be placed in protective custody to protect him as a witness. Finally, I think they are using this idiotic idea to prolong the storyline until the mid-season finale where Mike will be released and it's a very old and tired cliche to prolong this 'Mike is in prison' storyline. |

Explain to me how exactly he helped to get the evidence ?
Harvey gave the program to Cahill and Louis found the evidence that there was insider trading and the guy responsible for that came forward and that's their key witness. Mike was supposed to get Kevin to turn on his father and law and he didn't achieve that. This show hasn't been as good as their first 3 seasons in a while but I still enjoy the show for what it is and that's the characters, the acting, not the storyline. |
