Anybody know what Stephen King's connection to show might be? I was floored when he popped up in episode 3. He didn't even have a cameo in Haven, but suddenly he's got a small part in Sons.... Despite no acting talent whatsoever, it was a nice surprise.

He wrote in his column for Entertainment Weekly that he likes the show and Kurt Sutter got in touch with him after that. There is a little entry on his website about the show: http://www.stephenking.com/other/sons/

Can't wait to watch Season Three, but I'm waiting for the UK release.

Can anyone verify if this is suppose to have a slip cover? I just got my copy today from Bestbuy.com (black Friday sale) my copy had what looked like part of a slip cover glued to the package. Seems silly to attach a piece of a slip cover to the package, either put a real slip on, or don't.

No slip, just the silly piece of cardboard. It's too bad, the slip on S2 was pretty nice. Maybe S4 will have one? Alternate slips on even/odd seasons? A man can dream

I received my copy today. I paid $18.99 (no slip) on one of those lightening deals at Amazon. I actually tried to buy it at Best Buy (same price) the day after Black Friday. Even though the website showed stock, the store was very picked over and there were none to be found.

I haven't started season 4 yet but I thought that season 3 was about the best season of anything that I've watched on TV. It was simply brilliant.

My plan is to watch season 3 again on Blu-ray and then dig into season 4!

Thank you both, I watched season 1 & 2 on Netflix, then got extremely irritated that season 3 never made it on there (especially since 4 was starting to air).

I lucked out with the Bestbuy sale, I happened to be up when the sale went live, otherwise I probably would of missed it too.
