ANyone else is pretty pissed off that both New Line movie will only include a DTS track and a DD Track?, i mean, if they start like that, i doubt we'll see LOTR in Loseless...

If they follow Warner's lead, which they appear to be doing, if LOTR is released it will probably have lossless. Warner has treated their top tier titles pretty well.

im glad newline is blu ray exclusive for now but i wish we got a good movie worth buying

Like wickwoo said this is just an early cover sent out. The cover will probably be the same just without the dvd on the side and a blu-ray symbol instead. All the sites a look at have that cover so it is legit and not a fake.

Yeah but most new Warner release have TrueHD tracks, yet Hairspray and RH3 doesn't seem to .. .anyway i don't think the official Spec are out yet.. so..

I swear I read that the people that did the sound design for all 3 movies (the first 2 were just remastered), mixed these in DTS 7.1 sound. So we should at least see DTS-HD High Res, but I am guessing DTS-HD Master Audio 7.1.

And I was right... If you look on DVDEmpire.com they have the rear cover up and it says it's DTS-HD Master Audio 7.1. So that's deffinately a plus.

If it the real release has DTS HD-MA, then this title went from "eh, bargain bin" to "Gotzta have it!". I hope New Line doesnt screw us over.

According to High Def Digest, RH3 will be released on Dec 23rd instead of the 26th to take advantage of the Christmas shopping season. The HD DUD version won't be out until later 2008 due to "copy protection concerns".

great, now blu ray has no exclusives to battle with hd dvd that week.

Its still part of that week. It is just a few days earlier for christmas.
The numbers will still be reflected in that weeks sales though.

no the 23rd is a sunday. i thought sun is the last day of the week for the numbers? so that means we will have only pans labrinth released.
