WOW... hard to only choose 3 but I would say until SW comes out in Sept my 3 would be these:

The Godfather Collection
The Bourne Trilogy
Sideways - It's the most watched BD im my house so it's earned it's place here.

1. Transformers the Movie (1986). The '80s Transformers movie is pure childhood nostalgia.

2. Muholland Drive (Studio Canal Collection)
l
3. The Double Life of Veronique (Criterion Collection)

The last two are simply favorite films.

When someone asks what my favorite film is, I cheat and list 3 movies. Luckly, these 3 movies have surfaced on Blu-Ray.

NORTH BY NORTHWEST
THE MALTESE FALCON
YOJIMBO (Bet you didn't guess that one! LOL!)

I also have the Austrailan edition of CASINO ROYALE which contains about a minute of extra footage. This footage is seen in the opening bathroom fight scene and the staircase fight sequence. For me, this is the ultimate version of the film.

I have the Taiwan version which is the R-rated cut too! Yes, this is the ultimate version of the film hardly R-rated. MPAA just dicking around with action films again...

Everyone wants the Aussie version but no one seems to realize that the Asian versions are uncut too -- and way cheaper to import!

1. Goodfellas 20th Anniversary (yes I know the main disc is a reprint of an earlier disc): A great movie, good extras, and that DVD documentary on gangster films ain't half bad.

2. Cars: One of the first three Blu-Ray's I bought in a batch from Amazon (along with Men in Black and The Shining). While not as good as other Pixar movies, it showed how GREAT Blu-Ray is with animation.

3. The Adventures of Robin Hood (1938): A fantastic movie, great transfer, and ported all the extras from the 2-Disc DVD over. Didn't hurt I bought the thing for free .
