Wow there's a lot of hate on the sequels. Of course the original is the best and most classic but I thought both sequels were a lot of fun. I'll definitely be getting the box set.

Not as badly as Lost World did. I simply can not watch that movie it was such a colossal let down.

I only want the first film, but depending on the price I might pick up the non-special trilogy set.

That set is not enticing at all. I don't care for those cardboard cutouts. The disc artworks look exactly the same as the DVDs (which don't look very good to me). The artwork for the case is also pretty lackluster IMO.

I'm hoping other options are available. I imagine I will buy the trilogy as I like all three movies. They just really decline in quality rapidly.

I hope it does indeed come in a hard case like that, not the stupid tri-fold with slipcover that Back to the Future Trilogy came in. I like parts one and two a lot, and I don't mind part 3 since it brought back Alan Grant. I don't care what any of the naysayers think, all three will be a blast on blu-ray.

I thought that cover looked familiar:

https://forum.blu-ray.com/blu-ray-mo...d-posts-6.html

I'll pre order all three now and donate $20 towards an eventual fourth one if they'll really get that set out this year. I just picked up the limited edition DVD set on ebay for $10 just because I want that huge box it comes in. So naturally I expect to see something official about the blu rays any day now.

Link is up on Blu-ray.com with an October 25th release date for the Jurassic Park Trilogy.
Jurassic Park Trilogy

The studios have been coming through this year with a good amount of catalog titles. Jurassic Park was almost on the top of my list.

The 25th? That's my BIRTHDAY!
If this does indeed turn out to be true, well, I'll implode in joy. This is my favorite movie.

Just only the first or the entire Trilogy? I enjoyed them all with varying degree but I'll own them all so my choice is boxset.

None of the packaging looks legitimate to me. The standard box was fan created that was posted here, not sure why Blu-ray.com is using it.

Limited edition looks cheap and tacky.

I believe it when Universal puts their name to it, until then I'll just hope and pray this is just some fan mock-ups.

The Play.com place holder looked far better.

I do wish they had separate releases. I only want the first two, but if I must buy the box set so be it.

That seriously looks so much better. I would definitely rather have that.

The fan made box above looks better too; though, the actual art on the cases would have to be different.
