Great Job Seyons. Absolutely fantastic release! Keep up the good work! Does anybody know who authored this bluray?

The DTS HD Master audio is absolutely stunning. The grain structure is intact. Terrific PQ and AQ. VERY IMPRESSIVE!

If anyone from Seyons is reading this, please refrain from using any form of watermarks in the near future. The watermark appears for less than 3 seconds and one can hardly see it, but still please abstain from using watermarks in the near future.

I was on the fence, but I am definitely buying this blu-ray to support more quality Tamil blu-ray releases.

Hope Ayngaran starts releasing some quality movies on blu ray, definitely not the likes of crappy Kavalan!

@Sunny - Hope you can drive some sense into Ayngaran management regarding the crop of current releases.

I jumped blindly too (new company, initial negative reviews online, watermarks, etc.), but thankfully all my fears were unfounded and we got a gr8 product. Ayngaran does look like it has some promising releases slated for release soon.

I just got my VTV BD. PQ is great...but not that happy with AQ..during the title BGM there are some clarity problems.i have noticed that on DVD as well..

I've been begging Ayngaran to release Independent films like Mynaa, Kalavani, Naoodigal... but they seem more interested in releasing the bigger commercial films. Blu-Ray sales of Angadi Thedru was so bad that it scared Ayngaran from releasing any future independent titles.

Totally understand from a business perspective. But there are some quality awesome blockbusters which deserve a BD treatment. How about we start with Mani Ratnam movies?

I watched VV today and I am very disappointed with the quality of the disc + PQ/SQ.

This is only Blu-ray in my collection of 650+ that makes a whirring sound. Picture is washed out except for the song sequences. Something is messed up with audio at it suffers from distortion on the rear channels especially in the opening titles. Poor quality control.

Thats exactly I meant. Only some portions I felt that, especially during the title BGM.

Yes, its definitely audible for sure. Did Seyons correct this problem or was it recorded like that? Also, picture appears washed out with whites eating out the colors.

I watched this after Angadi Theru and I was thoroughly disappointed with the PQ / SQ. Going to take the disc back to the Ayngaran store for an exchange as the whirring sound concerns me.

I returned the disc. This reminds me of Khakha Khakha and few other DVDs which had similar issues with audio. Maybe it is how it was recorded.

I got hold of another copy today. Although my player still makes the whirring sound with the disc its not as bad as the first copy. However, the PQ is disappointing due to blooming whites, Edge halos, poor blacks and color fringing.

Calling this one of the best looking Blu-ray sounds like a joke.
